Dear Owner: if you'd come back with: the city of Alicante stops music at that hour... or, yes, that band is so good they had to get off to another gig and couldn't stay or... you know, maybe something a little less abrasive in your reply, it would have piqued my curiosity to make sure I would come back earlier in the evening. Now... y porque?

Came for the live band. Booked a couple of days in advance to guarantee a place as this is a cosy bar. 10Euro cover was more than fair for the band quality. Was really surprised by the choice and quality of the food, was excellent. Service was good considering everyone arrives at 8.45pm and orders at the same time. Drinks were good value and good range. Recommend the expresso martini to finish the evening off. My worry was that the band would be too loud for the small setting but actually was perfect. Agridulce momento. A pesar de ser un local bonito y con ambiente agradable, desafortunadamente, lo que podría haber sido una buena experiencia, se convirtió en una CARA experiencia. Fue el sábado 28 de enero de 2023. Éramos 4 personas. Entramos a preguntar por una mesa y nos dijeron que sí había alguna en la planta alta. Nos sentamos al fondo, en una mesa desde la que no se veía la planta baja, pedimos nuestra cena y mientras conversábamos, empezó a sonar música en directo, en un "escenario" de la planta baja. El servicio iba muy, muy lento, pero, no nos importó ya que, realmente, nosotros estábamos tranquilamente cenando y hablando entre nosotros y no teníamos prisa. Para facilitar las cosas, incluso, nosotros mismos, bajamos a recoger nuestra bebida a la barra. En general, la comida (ensalada, pulpo...) era algo escasa, pero, nos parecía buena. La sorpresa NEGATIVA llegó cuando al pedir la cuenta vimos que nos habían incluido 10€/persona (es decir, un incremento de 40€ en el importe final de nuestra factura), por el "concierto" que había estado sonando. Nos quedamos muy sorprendidos, pero, supuestamente, debíamos haberlo sabido ya que, en la puerta, encima de una mesa, había una "caja de letras" (de esas de decoración, de 40*20 cms, con letras móviles) en la que ponía "Live music 10 €". Ninguno de nosotros vio la "caja" al entrar y, tampoco, nadie nos informó de que hubiera un concierto por el que hubiera que pagar, 10 euros, ningún camarero nos dio una entrada, ni nadie nos lo comentó al ir a la mesa a tomar la comanda... así que, de los 120 euros que pagamos, 40€ fueron, por la "live music que estaba sonando en...
