At first glance this restaurant looks nice, ample parking and modern exterior. Inside the restaurant looks lovely but they haven't changed this from the previous owners (Colonial). Initially there looks to be a good variety of food, on closer inspection it's not that great. Sushi is plentiful and varied but all contains fish, no vegetarian option. There are NO labels on anything and the staff can't help with what each item is as they don't know! There are a lot of chicken dishes amongst beef dishes and although they are tasty they all have pretty much the same flavour and very salty. The cook yourself station which has steak/ chicken/pork/fish is good, quality of "entrecote" is not great but tasty enough and cooked well and the man that cooks this was lovely and helpful. The vegetable station was also good and the vegetable were cooked to perfection, I had asparagus, mushrooms and pepper and they were delicious accompanied by my steak. Pizzas were good but no variety! Desert station was a disgrace! NO CHOICE and we were told that CREPES, BROWNIE and CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN are only for weekends when they charge you more to eat there! There were 2 flavours of ice cream (chocolate or vanilla) and the profiteroles were the only option, nothing else! The fruit fridge was open with no door and the fruit smelled like it had been there a long time, the plates that were at the desert station had a bad odour like they had been washed in dirty water and the cloths that were dotted round the buffet were dirty and had bad odours coming from them. The desert spoons were white plastic and were being washed and put back even though they were to be thrown away! Staff were rude including the lady who was the owner/manager who didn't care about complaints only money! The toilets were absolutely disgusting, at opening time they should have been immaculate and they were not! Toilet roll everywhere and water on the female toilet floor, they clearly hadn't been cleaned since they opened at 1.15! The first drink is in a can but subsequent drinks you have to fill it yourself by a bottle that everyone is touching, you can add ice and lemon yourself. The people who were clearing tables were trying to take plates from you that you were still eating from and they had a trolley that had a very dirty odour, they were not friendly people at all and were not helpful and constantly being shouted at by the owner! I'm giving 3 stars because the sushi was good and the make your own meat station was good but...
Read moreHorrible.
Awful. At the entrance there is a woman that seems annoyed that you go alone to eat. At the bar a paella, perhaps recovered from midday, that was inedible. The entrecôte lasts like the sole of a shoe. Flavorless food, without a label that says what it is or the ingredients, who knows what poor quality. Under the previous owner (the buffet was called "Colonial") it was something completely different and the food was high quality, now, after having been there again, the idea of eating in this place makes me sick. 25 euros wasted. And then the bad manners, they give you orders and aren't unable to say "please", even the one who cooks the meat (he should have the dishes in his work area but he doesn't to order to give it to you: this denote incompetence and lack of a minimum of professionalism), whether the restraurant cashier (the woman at the entrance) looking like a frustrated sergeant. Only the grilled fish attendant was friendly. It is ridiculous and out of a normal, decent world that they believe they have a business treating customers like this, I have never seen anything like it in any other part of Europe. This place brings terrible energy to the world, it should be closed. And if it doesn't close, we know how it works and why it happens. But time and karma give their...
