Taverna Jarra Dorada — Restaurant in Alicante

We had a dinner here with my family. It was a tragicomedy. The waiters do not speak in English. I showed that we would like 6 places. The first waiter left me without any word. I followed him and I saw that two waiters put together more tables for us. When the first waiter spotted me, he sent me back to the street and showed that I should wait there. When they were ready we tried to seat down but the first waiter sent us out again. Then he invited back us. That was the point when we should have left this place. Amongst others, we ordered two Coca Cola Zero. They have not served them for 10 minutes than they brought 2 liter mineral waters. We explained that we requested 2 bottles coca cola instead of 2 waters. Than they took away the waters and brought 4 coca cola zero. We explained that we ordered only two. They took away 2 cola. The waiter forgot to open the bottles so we had to request it explicitly. My daughter in law received completely different food that she ordered. A waiter brought a plate of fruit de mare to my oldest sons and he pushed my plate. It almost flied down from the table to my clothes but I grabbed it at the last moment. My wife was not so lucky. The same movement of the waiter pushed her glass and her soft drink poured to the table. During the lunch several beggers came to us. Furthermore, several men tried to sell us ballons. The bill contained 4 coca cola zero instead of 2. We had to request a corrected one. The toilet was dirty. I have never seen so bad service in my life as here. This was a real disappointment for us as a family. We ordered lamb chops, chicken wings, potatoes, seafood croquettes , spaghetti bolognaise , fried squid a few other items. It took way too long to come, we were charged for bread baskets when only 1 arrived. They were not very attentive and unfortunately the chicken wings were not cooked properly. They were taken back and cooked for longer but still were not completely cooked through. The potatoes were cooked in burnt oil and had black char on them and they were really greasy. The squid was lovely and everything else was ok except for the seafood croquettes which were not nice at all. I was disappointed that the chicken was unable to be eaten because it was under cooked, the staff were ok but not really helpful in terms of trying to arrange food to replace what couldn't be eaten. Overall, generally if you pay for something you want to leave feeling full or at least to have enjoyed the food or at the worst case if the service is good. One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to, I've eaten silk worms that tasted better than most of their food, their patatas bravas should be called fried crisps and it's covered in one of the most watery sauces I've seen, in the end it was like a bowl of soup with soggy crisps, also on the menu was one measly sausage that was measured in grams and had the price of nine euros, when it was served it looked like one of the most saddest dishes I have ever seen, one sausage on a big white plate; the fish was cooked yesterday and reheated when my mother ordered it, the only few things that were nice was the squid (which would be hard to mess up) and the liter of water I nearly told the new customers that they should leave as the food was terrible and I regret not doing so, so please, PLEASE do not eat at...
