VIPS — Restaurant in Alicante

The most awful and rude server in the world. Both of them working were awful. Cynthia specially! She goes out of her way to be rude! We spilled some coke on the table and were looking g for them and asked her colleague who ignored us. When she came and saw that we were using bunch of napkins, she yelled and said we should asked her! And we said we were looking h for them! And she said that’s not true. As if, we would like to pay 100 euro at a place to do cleaning service ourselves by choice! She ruined all our moods, they were all rude to the kids too and was serving all the customers with attitude. I don’t understand how people who obviously hate their job so much, works in a place that’s suppose to be kid friendly! To vips management- please teach your servers some manners! To customers- stay away if you don’t want to be rudely treated. We are leaving now without having pancakes to another place cause we don’t want to pay for...

Someone may argue why I am giving 5 stars to simple cafe where all you can get is usual sandwiches and salads. Ans then I will tell them that not being a Michelin star restaurant food wise you get what you were expecting at a very good price and quality. The different thing here is the ambience and service: ten times better than any other place like this. If you are looking for a Gourmet place, you better go somewhere else, but if you are in a rush or just fancy classic cafe food, this is your place and you will not regret it. Well...

En el capítulo de hoy de Mr. Reseñas ha tocado el VIPS de Avda Federico Soto, de Alicante. Había tres mesas, tardan un poco en atendernos para sentarnos pero no pasa nada, estamos de libre, nos atiende Kenia y ya la hemos liado. Pedimos dos menús infantiles y dos hamburguesas. Cuando nos llega la comida, que ha bajado muchísimo en cantidad y calidad, y empezamos a comer, las judías están crudas, y las patatas hay unas calientes, otras frías, otras frías y duras, y otras frías, duras y mordidas. De dos platos! Avisamos a otro camarero porque Kenia estaba cogiendo uvas, y sin llegar a decirle lo que pasaba con las patatas, coge el plato y se lo lleva entero, nos quedamos a cuadros, pero nos quedamos más a cuadros cuando lo vuelve a traer ya con las patatas en condiciones sin haberle dicho lo que pasaba, osea que lo sabían y aun así sirvieron los platos así. La única explicación es que fueran sobras de clientes anteriores!!! Nos ha dado mucho asco!!!! La hamburguesa estaba sequísima, y la guarnición super escasa. Después hemos pedido los postres de los menús infantiles y hemos tenido que repetirlos porque no venían, es la vez que más tiempo hemos estado en un VIPS y con ganas de huir, si no fuera por lo amable que han sido una camarera rubia joven y el chico que nos ha cobrado, que han sido muy simpáticos. No hemos querido pedir hoja de reclamaciones ni liarla. Al irnos, pensábamos que Kenia, quién no sabemos si era la encargada como así parecía o era su primer día, nos iba a dar alguna explicación, pero se ha ido por patas, ha tenido que salir al capote la camarera joven rubia.
