Went here for the England game yesterday at around 130pm, for food and to watch the game. We arrived early as there are limited bars round this area and wanted to get a seat, so arrived with over 3 hours until kickoff at 5pm. The service was very slow to start but they did appear to be understaffed or unaware that it was going to be really busy. We had one round of drinks in an hour before we asked if we could order some food and more drinks. Within the 4 hours we were there we were served a total of 4 times.

Food was very nice but unfortunately the rest of the experience let us down.

At 330pm or around this time the staff then came over to people’s tables who had been there for hours and started putting reserved signs down without saying a single word.

I spoke to the lady and expressed how if we had known they were going to be reserved we would have taken our business elsewhere. As we arrived with hours to spare to ensure we could watch the game. After some back and forth we were told we were allowed to keep the original table, however others were not so fortunate and I would say within the space of an hour they had lost at least 100 people’s trade. I suspect they’re more concerned with keeping their regulars happy than walk-ins. Which as a business is a massive mistake, why take bookings on a game day? Needless to say the place emptied out as others scrambled to find another bar to watch the game. I really don’t understand the logic because within the 90 minutes of placing reserved signs on tables half of all tables were then empty, they could have made 100s more euros?

Clearly aren’t concerned with maximising profit

I would go downstairs to the other bar as it’s walk up service and you stand a chance of...

Visited O'Conners yesterday and wasn't impressed at all. The place wasn't busy and we still waited 10 minutes before someone came to take our order. The man who took our order seemed unhappy and only uttered one word 'ok' during the whole exchange. I ordered a Guinness and my parntner a pina colada. When the drinks came the Guinness was far from impressive. Even for a foreign country's standard. The pina colada was disgusting. It tasted like it was a pre made cocktail with far too much rum added at the end. The drink was undrinkable. As to be fair I decided to try 1 more Guinness before totally making my judgement. The second one was no better than the first. Off white head (slightly brownish) Lost its head after a few gulps. Tasted watery. My guess would be the gas set up was off and nobody had the experience to notice. Not a patch on The Step Inn a few minutes walk from this establishment. I can safely assume that this isn't owned by an Irish person. The decor is forced and not what an authentic Irish person would ever put their name to. The music in the background was absolutely terrible. More like sea shanty songs. The whole atmosphere was poor and unwelcoming. Not the usual warm welcome and good craic that you expect in a proper Irish bar. Again The Step Inn a few minutes walk away has welcoming staff who engage with their customers. O'Conners could learn alot from this real...

I regularly visit Irish pubs when abroad as they generally have a great atmosphere with a range of food options. O'Connor's was a different experience to what I've had with previous Irish restaurants. It didn't appear that any of the staff were Irish and they were all speaking Spanish, although this isn't an issue provided they offer great food and service.

I arrived and asked for a table and was told to sit anywhere and someone will be with me. After a short wait, a waiter detoured to my table whilst serving someone else and said 'what do you want' followed by 'any food?'. He started walking away before I finished giving him my order and didn't seem particularly welcoming. After a short wait of around 20 minutes, my food arrived with a waitness who just placed the food onto my table without saying anything and walked off.

I ordered the breaded chicken which came with chips and salad as the photo shows. The food was hot but tthere was very little chicken within the breadcrumbs. Otherwise the food was very nice, well prepared and arrived in a timely manner.

I visited around 5pm on a Wednesday evening and the location wasn't particularly busy. I was servied quickly and the food was of good quality, however the staff didn't seem interested in serving me or even offering further drinks or dessert. Given the price is higher than other local similar establishments, I would have expected a...

None of the Staff are Irish, I think the only Irish person in the bar was my Wife. No judgement, just wondering what the connection is, fuerteventura ? O'Connors. But still it's profit. The location of the bar is one of the best things about the place. It perches up high with a slightly cluttered, but very picturesque view. The food is very pub grub, again not Irish, but with some strong hints, which were appreciated. The Hotdog was very tasty, with a very juicy frankfurter. The Chicken Mayo was toasted warm on outside, and cool on the inside. Strange combo, but still very nice taste. On the menu also noticed some other interesting mentions. bacon and cabbage, bacon and onion toastie. Didn't try them all, but appreciate the attention to detail. My wife says the Guinness was deliciously cool on a hot day. But I noticed there was no two part pour. There is background music playing the pop Irish classics. My wife lilting in the way the only the Irish can. The toilets are decent and clean here, with obligatory mna and fir signs.

I would not normally look for UK related pubs and restaurants when visiting other countries, but this pub/restaurant has a great vibe! The waiters/ waitresses are fun and they keep their cool even in the busiest period! We went in for lunch and ordered a Sunday roast, the portions were massive, for around £12.90, we could barely finish it! It was very well cooked and rich! The same day, In the evening we went back for drinks, there was a live performance by a very talented Irish musician, and all the visitors seemed to be enjoying themselves, even the elderly. Will definitely return on our next visit to Caleta De Fuste.
