La Karina — Restaurant in Arona

The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast menu on the Specials board is extremely good value for lower income families and couples but this doesn't mean the restaurant skimps on the food or service in any way at all. You get two sausages, two fried eggs, two pieces of Danish bacon, baked beans, four triangles of toast, fried tomato and tea or coffee. The tea is PG Tips not the cheap Lipton's variety of English Breakfast served in mug. The hot water is brewed in your cup ready so you can brew your own strength of tea which is excellent. You also have a little jug of milk which is generously filled. All this for €3.90. This is really the best value on the Island I have come across so far and I have been here two weeks. The main menu is also very reasonably priced and has a good variety of foods to suit everyone. I enjoyed my time here that me and my Father decided to stay for another brew 😁. I give this a five star review but 9/10 for the English Breakfast. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Came to watch the World Cup match and asked to put the tv on inside as outside couldn't see anything and nobody was inside anyways and the server just shook his shoulders and walked away. Ordered drinks and when the server came over he dropped a glass full of coke on me but I just about managed to catch it so it didn't hit me on the head. Server didn't even apologise just walked away. Went to order food and his attitude was discussing. When the food came out it was the wrong pizza and was missing ham on it so I went up to the serever and mentioned it to him and he started shouting and raising his voice at me asking it was what I ordered even tho it wasn't. Very mournful greeting. We're seated, given menus and then asked what we wanted to eat. We said can we order drinks first. No smile bur a huff!!. Drinks arrived, wrong but let it go. Then asked again for our food order. Said can we have 5 minutes. We like to peruse menu with our drink. Ordered starters and main. Starters came wrong again.
