On first appearance, this restaurant had everything. Looks amazing, great decor and brilliant atmosphere with live music (DJ). Really let down by some very poor service and a couple of average dishes. Ordered water and two cocktails straight away. They never turned up so gave up on those as our wine had arrived for the meal at that stage! Starters were Arancini (advertised as nibbles/pre-starters, but came at the same time as the other starters), bruschetta with prawns and carpaccio of beef. In short, the seasoning wasn't great on the beef and the accompanying parmesan wasn't a quality one and lacked flavour. The prawns were cold and sat on top of an average bit of bread that had little flavour and wasn't quite toasted well enough so was soggy. Arancini and sauce were quite nice. Presentation was good on all 3 dishes. Mains, we both had tagliatelle with prawns in chilli, tomato and cream sauce. Unfortunately again, the pasta wasn't seasoned well during cooking and the prawns were not fresh. They had clearly been precooked and added to the pasta when tossing through with the sauce. They ended up going that horrible overcooked/soft texture. Very average mains at best. We then wanted to order a dessert and then move on to coffee and post-dinner cocktails once we'd eaten the dessert but got told by our server that the bar was closing so we had to order now! The time was 23:15 with an advertised closing time of 0:00??! We decided to share one slice of tiramisu (decent portion but lacking in espresso flavour) and gave up on the coffee and cocktails, feeling very rushed and unwelcome. Our server cost the restaurant an easy €50/60 in lost spending/missing drinks. If I was the owner/manager I'd be...

Last night my girlfriend and I attended Bianco Restaurant for our valentines dinner, to say we were impressed is an understatement. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and escorted into a very well presented establishment. The staff were very friendly and displayed excellent Covid hygiene standards (masks, distancing etc).
Our waitress was Charlie, Charlie was fantastic & knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions in a polite manner. She made us feel like we were part of the Bianco family, as opposed to just being another tourist at her business. She definitely deserves a pay rise! If every waitress in Tenerife took a leaf out of her book I’m sure they’d be better off for it!!! She even went above and beyond and took some wonderful photos of us.
The prices were very good considering the level of service and standard of food received. My girlfriend had the fillet steak (which was incredible) & I had the meatballs marinara which was exquisite. The wine & cocktail menu was great too.
I think what separates Bianco from other restaurants is the atmosphere, the place was practically bouncing and we couldn’t wait to enter as we saw it from a distance on the promenade. They had really gone the extra mile to make it a really romantic venue.
The only critical feedback we would give is that there was foie gras on the menu. These ducks are reared unethically and an establishment like this should set the bar higher!
All in all we are over the moon to have experienced our time here and could not recommend it enough to anyone who is looking for a good time, good food and to make fond memories.

Read moreProbably the worst Italian food we’ve had ever and worst restaurant service we’ve ever received while on first holiday to Tenerife. We booked in for my birthday dinner, got seated right away which was great, and it all went downhill from there. Took about 10-15 min, for a server to ask us if we wanted drinks. Also ordered our appetizer and main course to include fried calamari (we were craving it the most), lobster ravioli (€24) and Spicy King Prawns with Fried Garlic on Tagliatelle (€20). Whilst finalizing our order, the server was confirming each item we ordered and finally says that they ran out of calamari (it’s only 6:50pm)…strange for a restaurant to be known for and too early in the evening to have ran out of. Both of our dishes were very tasteless and flavorless. The COLD lobster ravioli (6 pieces) - presentation was abysmal with chopped chives, poorly dressed with sauce and the optional cheese garnish was a Parmesan crumble served out of what looked like a communal kitchen plastic tray, rather than the shredded cheese like other greatly reviewed photos 3 weeks ago on google…why the inconsistency? But to each their own.
Several waiters and waitresses passed by us numerous times, just collected our empty glasses ran away, did not check up on us once through the whole 45-50 we were there. The music was way too loud for my husband and I to enjoy our conversations, made it seem like it was more of a club experience, kinda weird but I guess.
Unfortunately our dinner experience here was surely a...
