First impressions it seemed like a nice enough place, the room was a little dated but the pool and garden area was amazing. After a night in the room the mood was dwindling, the bed was too hard for us, there was no give in the mattress at all and we never slept well at all on the beds. The rooms were warm but the fans did virtually nothing even on full speed the blades were spinning really slowly, luckily, we took a 150mm battery powered fan which felt better than the 600mm ceiling fan, even from a similar distance. We did move rooms, see below, the 2nd room was better as we had windows on front and back of the room we opened to get some air movement. The worst part was on day 2 we found they'd put us in a block which was being refurbished, it wasn't "too " bad at first as the works was far enough away not to be a problem. The next day the builders started ripping everything out of the room just below us and next but one across, the noise of the power tools and hammering was very loud., they were using power tools to chisel the old door frame out underneath us, the builders also had their tools blocking our stairs to and from our room and the stairs were covered in building dust. I went to reception and they agreed to move us in a few hours to a quieter location away from the works but they should never have placed anyone in those rooms knowing the amount of work which was getting done, in my opinion they should've shut that block down while the work was on and not being so greedy, other hotels in the location have shut for the season while being refurbished. The picture shows the stairs to our room, you can see the circular saw and other items blocking the exit from our room, when I went to reception there was also old door frames left in the walkway.

Sadly never again. I always wanted to stay at this place as i know its very popular. The beds are like concrete. Had to take painkillers before bed and again in morning. Over 4 different rooms we tried the beds. Yes they tried to put stuff right but dumping piss stained mattresses toppers in our garden 2 nights before we leave just didn’t quite do it unfortunately. SOMEONE entered our room when the “DO NOT DISTURB” sign was on the door! Not good at all! The Maid clearly seen the sign Good things. The staff are very nice and try and help resolve the problems but it was one after another. The place is very clean for a 3 star My daughter loved the pool & the general vibe of the place is nice. Location perfect Bad things! Rooms VERY dated All bed rock hard! Some bolted separately to wall! No good for couples We had mold in one bathroom We got moved from room to room because of problem after problem. 4 hours wasted moving rooms and it still wasn’t right but where do you draw the line? Door handles falling off, fridge doors falling off, bear electrical wire showing and nearly electrocuting my daughter, showers not working correctly, fans not working correctly. The list really gos on. They couldn’t even put the correct sheet on a bed! I must have had to go to reception over 10 times in 24hours. It was a constant stressful inconvenience Its so disappointing as i so wanted to love the place. Would i stay again? Most definitely not sadly. A holiday is supposed to be relaxing and this was anything but sadly. Update 3 months on. I love how there is no response from the hotel. All the others they try to defend.

Just got back from staying here. Location was the only good thing I would say was great. Staff friendly but we were unbelievably unhappy with our stay. First apartment we were given we had to ask to me moved as it had upstairs with steep stairs and not safe with 1 year old, there’s banister bars were coming off aswell and there are old fans on the ceiling that make so much noise, there’s no air con. Old 80s style hotel rooms, beds are like bricks. No proper locks on balcony doors which gave me anxiety with my child staying here. Every time we left and came back we had to carry our son as well as pram and shopping we needed up a few flights of stairs because depending what room your given the lift does not go to it. It made me either not wanna leave the apartment but nor wanna come back due to the effort of coming and going. Same with the pool, carrying lugging the child and pram around. The pool is beautiful and location of hotel everything’s right there but that about it. I would never stay here again everything was outdated and neglected. Shower curtains stained like how much is it for a shower curtain come on like…. and everything for the money we paid it was shocking. There was no cot when we first got in and there were long black hairs on the sofa and the Tyles on the floor were cracked. My child is crawling at the minute and generally just felt unhappy and unsafe with this accommodation. The pictures aren’t what it looks like. Only thing the same is everything is wooden and old looking I stayed here years ago and they still have same curtains I couldn’t believe it!!!!!!

Apartment was rented through a rental company her name was Olga and her office is opposite the PS2.||When we arrived in the property, I was like OMG this isn’t like the photos on Airbnb as a wide lens was used to take them. The room is hotel sized and small. No sofas, just one small leather chair, small round dining table with 2 chairs. Yet it says it can fit 4 not sure how. ||Kitchen- Has all utensils which was nice. Toaster could be replaced. ||Room- Has an extended area which every time it rained got soaked wet and we cleared it up, on telling OLGA she was unaware of this, however said she would send a cleaner which I said was fine. The curtains got wet with this to- which is horrible as we were unaware and could have slipped. We had to place towels down.||They have a humidifier in the room which was no use, blew out cold air, and it was chilly already. ||Bathroom- is horrible the shower cubicle you can just fit in this, if we were any larger you wouldn’t. The shower head was awful there is no movement for this only one direction. If you move about in the shower the tap moves with your body because it’s so small and the water comes out very hot like burning hot. When I asked the question Olga said its hotel size, which it isn’t. Its very small and I just couldn’t wait to come out of the shower. Towards the end the bathroom smelt like a sewer. ||It needs replacing doors are plastics mould everywhere. The whole bathroom needs a refurb.||There is not a balcony there, if you wash clothes there is nowhere to dry them. They have a clothes horse, but how can you dry them when there’s no sun or heat. They were damp and had to stay there for a few days.||I feel the apartment is small for the number of things they have. Beds cleaning up stuff clothes horse. There are fold up beds in the corner, not sure where you would them, maybe one in the kitchen and one in front of the main beds. You would have no space to move.||Mobility Scooter- my husband is disabled and hired a scooter, there were no charging points at all, I asked the agent on the first day she said I don’t know. Asking around others they said speak to the management office within PS2. We did the lady was rude, they tried to see if they could fit this in the lift the couldn’t. There was only one lift for the building which is small. On speaking to the lady, she phoned the agent, who then phoned me and said to vacate, she would refund me for the stay, as I have complained and don’t like the property and that management in PS2 phoning her. She demanded I meet her face to face in 30 minutes, we were Los Cristiano, and she was in Las Americas, we came back, lucky we had the scooter. She spoke with anger; I asked her for alternative she said no we haven’t I looked and for 5 days was £1000k plus and then moving everything would have been a nightmare. I know she had one in Los Cristiano as she offered another lady this on a forum and we weren’t. Overall, the Scooter company was so nice that every other day they swapped scooter for after being charged. The went above and beyond and we were thankful to them. As otherwise we couldn’t get around the Island. My husband was so stressed out and said this is discrimination. Before you book, please be aware of this.||There are 2 within the building who would have charged them, but you had to purchase from them.||Noise- Outside from the clubs and bars over the weekend till 7am, and then maintenance work going on from 8am Mon-Saturday. Other people in rooms carrying out work at 5am. We hardly slept due to the high level of noise. You can’t sleep during the day to for a nap again because bars have singers and loud music. I told the agent this and she wasn’t bothered and just said she was unaware about the maintenance work, how could she be not when she has other apartments. ||One of the days we woke up at and there was so water in the taps from 8am, I phoned the agent who was unaware of this and phoned PS2, they said it would only be off for 1 hour, put signs up around the building communicating they be off from 10am-11am, they didn’t turn back on till 6pm. No one gave us prior notice was such a horrible day for us as you can imagine couldn’t use any of the facilities at all. Even to put mineral water due to the problems with the shower. 5pm still no water, I again asked the agent, she said it was back on, I sent videos to say it wasn’t, then she sent a lady around who confirmed it wasn’t. This then came back on after a while. She refunded me for that night instantly which was nice of her.||The shop outside the building is nice cheap and makes fresh baguettes and sandwiches. ||Swimming pool- You are charged £5 per sunbed. But the weather was hit n miss during our stay, so we didn’t bother going in or using the facilities.||Overall, this was the worst apartment I ever stayed in and has put me off going to Tenerife ever again. Never seen such a horrible apartment, it ruined my holiday. I have disabled husband who was stressed out so was I as I must run around lots always. I can see it advertised for £100 per night same time next year. Not worth it whatsoever. Especially for your own peace of mind. ||The owner should be made of aware of this has this ruined my...

We booked a villa G169 in Parque Santiago 1 on VRBO for 2 week stay We were so disappointed it was extremely dirty. We contacted the owner after our stay about the condition of the place and he only addressed 2 of the many issues as he said he would have sent cleaners back in if we had contacted him at beginning. We knew there was no quick reclean hence we did not contact until after the holiday. This place had not been cleaned for some time and the excuse was the quick turn around of guests. The fridge was rusty and over heating, plus all the food kept freezing. Owner said a new one had been ordered and would be there the week after we left. The floor in kitchen had hair and dirt around the edges of the units, there was an hole in the ceiling that was home to some ants that got everywhere kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Clearly had been a problem as there was ant spray in the kitchen unit. The doors where really dirty through out the property. The patio doors do not lock, bedding was old and grubby looking. Sheets did not fit beds correctly. No spare bedding only dirty thin duvets. The bathroom upstairs was disgusting, mold on walls inside shower cubicle and the shower doors were brown with the thick dirt. The smell was so bad we had to put an air freshener to mask the drain and mold smell. Hair and dirt all around the edges and behind the toilet. Light fitting did not work and were broken in back bedroom. The fan blades in living room had thick brown dust covering them and no cover on the light fixture. Cobwebs on all walls in every room. We had to move the bed in back bedroom only to find old receipts and lots of dirt and dust. Loose and missing floor tiles. I have never had to leave a bad review and if had an issue always contacted owner first. This place needs a complete deep clean and all the issues addressing. I have never stayed anywhere that is so dirty. Some of the furniture had been painted but no varnish to stop it getting dirty. We thought we were ok as there was a washing machine but suprise suprise that did not work. We reported it to the lady who met us on the first day and she did not have anything to say. We did have to ask for more towels and she dropped a bag full of to us the next morning. There was no cleaning products anywhere in the place and I don't think there was any used. Tired and dated I can do, but I am sorry there is no need for cleanliness to be this bad, quick turn around or not. Such a shame as the complex it's self is beautiful and well maintained. Pool is warm and the pool side cafe is great value for money. Staff there are very friendly. 2 mins from beach and all amenities. Central to everything but quiet and relaxing at same time. We had a wonderful holiday just a shame about the villa we stayed in. Only writing this so that the owner will get his act together and sort out the place, it could be made beautiful if it was properly maintained. I will def return to Parque Santiago 1 we loved it. Pictures do not show true state of the place. VRBO will only let you write a few words in the review hence we have done...
