Decent price, quick, and decent repair for someone on holiday and needing a fast repair without the bank with them. Would recommend for anyone looking a good fast repair at a reasonable price.
Blue iPhone 12, used to be my dad’s he got the battery replaced but he got a new iPhone 12 eventually because of issues after it being repaired. I get his old phone as I need a newer one for my holiday, but on holiday I find there are battery issues.
But if you plan to only get it looked at it is around €30 to not get fixed, but if you get it fixed with them there isn’t a service charge.
So my issue is it seems to die randomly, at like 60 then need charged and show 11%, and maybe show inaccurate battery readings. The phone gets really hot too when not using much even, and the screen is popped up probably expanded battery.
Can’t wait until I get home as I’m here for another week, so I have a look online at some places here. Find a place, but it is €95 for A BATTERY! I literally get this for so much cheaper at home from previous repairs there. Eventually I look at more shops that offer repairs, I find Gadgets R Us and decide to message them.
Seem helpful and friendly, and offer €69 for a battery, which is more like it. And when I take the phone out of the case try to pry it open a tiny bit more to see if it is swollen but end up making a digital blue crack in the screen.
So take the phone there, they don’t give a straight up price for the screen as the boss isn’t there who fixes the phones. But they do contact you after they look at it for a price. It was going to cost €228 ish for the battery and screen to be replaced, but we were able to manage to get it to €200 so many thanks for the offer seeing we only have limited euros with us.
About two hours it took, when I go back it seems perfect and they replace the battery and screen perfectly, but I believe it is an LCD screen and not an OLED by the bigger gap at the bottom, so it isn’t as good quality. Not too much of an issue but should have been mentioned or asked what type of screen.
And upon putting the case on i see the screen is thicker than my dad’s iPhone 12 with a proper screen as it hasn’t been replaced. This is a bit inconvenient as I have an all round bumper case and the clips don’t fully click and I am worried the phone or case could get damaged. Cause of this is probably because it hasn’t got one of the best screens ever but it seems okay anyways.
I panicked though when the screen started glitching and flickering and squared differently coloured pixels. Thankfully it passes and is perfectly fine on that bit now it doesn’t have any issues with use ability .
And the dying and inaccurate battery readings is fixed and I haven’t had any issues with the battery since, and the battery percent seems to charge and go down a more of a normal pace, not charging unrealistically fast and not staying at 80% then dying when it gets to 60%.
Overall great job, and many thanks for the price and the offer, handy for someone needing fast repair on holiday as I couldn’t keep up with a phone randomly dying on trips and everything and relying on power banks.
Attached photos of the bends in the case with the new screen, but it’s not too worrying just would like to mention.
Also like to see they are replying to reviews and helpful to any issues in the reviews and offering refunds, shows they are happy to help and...

Update Jan2025, the bank refunded the money last year in June, these charlatans never disputed it, that tells you all you need to know. And I still have the phone.
update on 4th May, claim lodged with bank and complaint made to Canaries Trading Standards, funny how their reply wishes to seek a resolution, think the bank will find that interesting
Do not and I repeat, do not buy anything close to an iPhone from here. Purchased a “new” IPhone 13 today(1st May 2024) told it had a 2 year Apple warranty and was brand new. Staff make out they are affiliated to Apple, they are not.
Got it back to the Hotel and had to call Apple to retrieve my password. They checked the warranty and told me it was a used iPhone, the warranty expired two years ago. On closer inspection I did notice slight scuffs etc. This was €625, for a 256gb which seemed slightly more expensive than a new one in the UK but I was desperate as I needed to access banking details for my return home to the UK.
Took it back to the just over 5 hours later, was then told it was a used one that was a week old. Refused a refund or replacement. And that any warranty was with the shop and there was no point complaining to my bank as they would contest it. Another customer came in and he ignored me.
Do not go any where near.
A look at the reviews indicates they are possibly...
Read moreWe went into the shop in Tenerife las Americas on 20th September to purchase earbuds. We then asked about protective screens for our Samsung S25 ultra phones. Well what a mistake!! He proceeded to put the screens onto the phones. After asking him how much he a said cheap not much. We were stupid enough to trust him. For the for protective screns for two phones and for the camera lenses + protective screen for a watch he charged us 371 euros. We went back the next day to complain and we were offered a 15% refund which we were not happy with ended up accepting 129 euro refund just to get out of the shop so ended up still costing me 242 euros for a small job that I had priced at another phone shop at 54 euros so my advice would be to make sure you get a full price breakdown before letting these people touch your phones or better still avoid...
