Promenade Restaurante — Restaurant in Arona

We have been travelling to this very freindly resteraunt for over 24 years and have watched it grow and grow. The food is beautiful with very generous portions the gentleman who has owned it has recently retired and had handed it over to his nephew. We saw a few changes this time for instance nice big wine glasses and beautifully served G&Ts. They are also serving home made carrot cake made by the owners wife a change from banana splits and ice cream although they are equally delicious . And this would not be a review without mentioning the best waiter in the island HASSA he is as much a part of the resteraunt as the furniture. The Promenade is open all day lovely breakfast and lunch great for families. We would love to see it open till later as it usually closes around 10.30 11pm, but hey it's different for us holiday makers and they have to rest sometime. We just got back in May and are looking forward...

Dirty place and horrible experience Stay away — this place is dirty! I went with my three children, and we all got sick with diarrhea the same day. The fish was old and smelly, and I could tell right away it wasn’t fresh — my father was a fisherman, so I know fish well. There was even a long hair on top of the food. I didn’t say anything at first just to keep a good vibe for my kids.

When I asked for the bill and then to cancel the coffee because people nearby started smoking (I have asthma), the waitress suddenly started shouting, saying, “I’m not your slave, I’m not your dog!” She thought I gave her two instructions at once. She kept shouting nonstop, like barking, in front of my children, who were terrified and started crying. I paid and left immediately. Unprofessional, dirty, and unacceptable....

I've been coming here for over 10 years and the food and prices are absolutely amazing, they open at 8am so perfect for a cool early morning breakfast before you head off on your day or to any of the parks, they have the same staff, chef and servers for years and years which in itself says alot for the establishment, while its doesn't look as modern as some places, take my word when I say you will NOT be disappointed in the food, service, quality and portion size, great coffee also. It's looking into the beach also, beautiful views. This is the spot for a proper well cooked breakfast and lunch let's not forget lunch, huge portions of freshly prepared food for the whole...
