Restaurante Miami Beach — Restaurant in Arona

We have been going to Miami Beach now for some 38 years and always had excellent food and service. However we visited again after lockdown in November 2021 and were a little disappointed.

I am usually salivating on the 'plane looking forward to the avocado/prawn salad. This last time, althought the sevice and cleanliness were still examplary, I was disappointed in the same salad. Langoustines instead of shrimps. I don't like langoustines. I have posted another review after visiting again 6weeks later. Back to usual standard. Yeh!😁😁😁

This place is better than ok, I would describe the overall score as Good, rather than very good. Fancied sitting in the shade watching the world go by overlooking the sea. Didn't fancy to fancy at lunchtime. Partner had tuna which was well cooked and moist. I had some and would have to say it was better than anywhere else I've had. I chose the calamari. It was nice enough, could have done with a bit more by way of a portion (but perhaps that's because my stomach has got bigger this week on holiday!) and a tad crisper. Never been into the restaurant as there is a very rude rep standing outside which put me and my partner off (older lady with blonde hair) we walked past her on our first night and she started trying to convince us to come in. As we had already eaten we politely said no thanks and she replied with a dirty look and a terrible attitude!! Second time we walked past her she was trying to convince us to come in and again my partner said no thanks and she looked him up and down with a disgusting look!!
