Ventured out this morning to find a place to sit and have a full English brekkie as we went past the English rose there was a lovely older lady outside who offered us in for a brekkie we obliged we took our seat my bum had barely touched the seat when a very angry looking Spanish lad stormed over to our table and asked are u ready to order as my partner was telling him what she would like to eat he stopped her and said I'm only taking drinks menu to witch she asked do u have a menu of the drinks u do so I can see what id like he abruptly replied with tea coffee water we opted for water he placed them on the table walked away to witch a young girl approached and then asked if we wanted to order food we both opted for the full Scottish breakfast to witch she asked do u want fried or scrambled egg my partner had fried I asked for scrambled brekfast came looking underwelming to say the least but we tried well omg I can honestly say it was one of the most disgusting breakfasts ive ever had the miss fortune of trying on this island the tattie scone was flowery and under fried looked like it had been put in a toaster the beans tasted like they had water added to them the bacon was rubbery the scrambled.egg was under cooked the square Scottish sausage was flavourless and over fried the only edeable thing was the slightly toasted toast witch is hard to mess up let's be honest if u mess toast up u have no business being in a kitchen wouldn't recommend at all and the best part is I went to pour my partners water out the bottle into the glass I noticed in the neck of the bottle mould spores to witch I made her aware as well as the glass being filthy to witch she called the unpolite young lad over I previously mentioned earlier in this review and made him aware no apologie given snatched the bottle of the table and returned with another bottle to witch we was done and asked for the bill the bill came £24.70 for 2 brekkies and 2 waters disgusting price for the amount and quality of food and water we received upon looking at the bill we was charged 7euors each for 2 waters of witch we couldn't drink due to mould spouse being in the neck of the bottle and filthy glasses I was charged extra for ma egg being scrambled even tho egg is included in the brekkie I ordered I was also charged extra for 1 hash brown again states is included with the brekkie would highly avoid this place disgusting rude staff dirty place mould in ur water dirty glasses and over charging people for things that come with the brekkie 1 slice of toast 1 slice of bacon 1slice of square sassuge an extra small what I can only describe as a sauce dish of watery beans 1 small mushroom cut up and 1egg scrambled 2 of these with 2 mouldy waters for £24.70 is an absolute joke not long after leaving the sickness feeling kicked in on me and my partner ended up on the toilet s**ting the vile mess of a brekkie out AVOID AT ALL COSTS go else where id give 0 stars for all of it if it...

Me and my partner visited here a few nights ago for a drink. When we arrived I asked for a cocktail menu as it’s a bar, should have a cocktail menu right? No I was abruptly told by the waitress that there was no menu and all cocktails were on the wall. This was our first red flag as a bar should have a menu! Not some pictures on the wall. This wall was across the bar from where I was sitting I couldn’t see it or read it, I wear contact lenses and still couldn’t see it. For someone with sight issues or a disability this isn’t great at all. Also even though I couldn’t read or see the board what made it worse was people were sitting in front of the board (not the peoples fault) but their heads were covering it? We opted for a sangria as we couldn’t see the board. Next we got approached by a man in the bar almost demanding me and my partner to play a game of sticky bingo? Which you had to pay for. We only wanted a drink so we politely refused. This man wasn’t happy that we didn’t want to play the game gave me and my partner the most dirty looks because of it. He asked us where we were from and answered Wales. I felt as though he was discriminating us because we were from Wales in an English bar? When the game started he made rude remarks about me and my partner over the microphone in front of the whole bar because we didn’t want to play the game, pointing out that we were Welsh. Overall such a horrible experience we came in for a drink made to feel stupid because I asked for a menu, felt discriminated for being Welsh in an English pub! Absolutely awful. This bar should be disappointed in themselves at how they treat...

Came here twice in a row to watch the football, once on a Sunday and once on a Tuesday to watch the England game.

The first time we came I would Have rated the venue a 4/5, the girl serving us was very nice and polite, charged €8 for 1 madri & 1 carling, stayed for around 5 rounds (5 pints each) and paid €10 euro per round, with €2 euro change retuning each round (€4 each pint)

The second night we came Tuesday 25th June to watch England. The story couldn’t be more different. Found the same table we sat at the night before, ordered the same (1 madri 1 carling) paid €10 and received €2 change, ordered the second round from the large male server (who I suspect to be the owner’s son) charged €10 for the round. Questioned him on this he said they cost €5 each. Contrary to the change we have been receiving throughout using them previously. After ordering another round with the lady waiter again, we gave her €8 for the round. She then took it to the other side of the bar where I could watch the staff in the interior mirror that sits behind the bar, Male server shook his head and the woman then retuned asking for €2, which we said no, you’ve charged €8 for the last round.

Tourist trap when the owner & his son are there, if you happen to visit here avoid the make server. 2* because they have plenty of TV’s to watch the sports

EDIT: ordered another round with the lady server then she returned with the statement of it’s ’€10, €5 per drinks… you ordered estrellas last time which is €3’!!! The lies, the sheer cheek of it! Scam artists! Go anywhere else, even if it’s a...

Really poor attitude on one of the service staff. I ordered a cheeseburger and a latte. The cheeseburger was over cooked with a huge clump of freezing cold cheese on top (it was frozen to the touch) I took two bites of the burger, decided it was too much hassle to try and rectify the issue, as the lady had already had a poor attitude (short, abrupt, the opposite of welcoming) I went to the till to try and leave without a scene. Bill was €10.50 I asked if I could just pay €10 with a single bill rather than split a €20 as I had left the food. She replied that’s not my problem. Rather than trying to understand why I’d abandoned my food. Her entire attitude is the cause for the review, food mistakes happen, they’re unfortunate, but they happen. If she would have shown the slightest concern or interest instead of being dismissive and defensive I wouldn’t be leaving this review

Avoid, rude service and SCAMMERS!!!!!. The waitress taking order with a rude ironic way asking "Do you speak English?" We placed the order and were asked how to serve the eggs, fried or scrambled, mushrooms or hash brown ,noone ever though the questions are not for preparing our food but to blow up the bill . On the bill it turned out that all the items were additionally added as extras to an ordinary ordered small breakfast and full breakfast ,although we didn't asked for any extras to English breakfast. Seems like tourist trap. Really terrible experience.Avoid at any costs! A few steps below is lovely service and proper amount of food and value for money. They are pure rude scammers

Bloody awful is all I can say. Small full English advertised at 3.95 they don’t tell you they charge extra for a hash brown & scrambled egg when you’ve not even asked for it. It’s probably the filthiest place I’ve been in. Glasses dirty & the toilet wow. Faeces on the floor and the smell is unbelievable. Toilet is right next to the kitchen too. The food itself is just vile. Don’t waste your time or money
