For a fabulous group dinner I highly recommend Aladdin Restaurant! I and a family group went in for a late dinner at 10 PM during the holiday season after enjoying a night of seeing the holiday lights in Barcelona. It was a cold night, and the moment we crossed the threshold to the restaurant we were overwhelmed with a wide variety of delicious smells and the beauty of the warm and inviting decor of place. The expansive dining room is separated into sections with arches. Mosaics and tiles complement the deep wood decor immediately transporting you to an Arabian night, as if you had just stepped off of Aladdin's magic carpet.
It was so difficult to order because EVERYTHING on the menu looked great! We decided to start off with the Menú Damasquino Degustación (tasting menu - 54E), along with a good bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, to get everyone started. On that tasting menu one of the items was the BEST hummus I have ever tasted! There were fallafel, stuffed grape leaves, pita with spinach and cheese, and pita stuffed with meat. Each and every one of these samples was perfectly seasoned to tickle your tastebuds and leave you wanting more. Which is what we did! After devouring the tasting menu we each enjoyed the entree of our choice, with tajin de pollo and tajin de carne served along with tabouli salad, larger orders of the varieties of stuffed pita, more stuffed grape leaves, and baba ganoush. Everyone enjoyed themselves thouroughly and were all thrilled with this restaurant choice. It can be difficult sometimes to find a restaurant which will serve delicious appetizers and entrees for the vegetarians in a group as well as the meat eaters, but Aladdin solves this conundrum beautifully. Fully half their offerings are vegetarian.
The service was also spectacular: pleasant and attentive without rushing us even though we had come in so late.
All in all, I think that this was one of my two favorite restaurants for our group dinners with vegetarians to satisfy -- a REAL crowd pleaser.

Read moreWe recently had dinner in Aladdin restaurant, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the evening. The ambiance, with its soft lighting and tasteful decor, truly made the space feel cozy and sophisticated.
The Mediterranean cuisine here is exceptional. Every dish was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors that transported us straight to the Mediterranean coast. From the perfectly grilled meats to the delicate hummus and warm, fluffy pita, every bite was a delight. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation was evident, and you could tell the ingredients were top-quality.
What truly set this experience apart, though, was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here.
Overall, I highly recommend Aladdin restaurant for anyone looking for fantastic Mediterranean food, superb service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t...
Read moreWe really had high hopes for this place. My wife and I are very fond of Lebanese food and when we read the reviews of this place we couldn't wait to try it. We were left dumbfounded and felt misled by the reviews that we read after our experience. For starters, the place was not busy at all but it took forever to take our order and get our bill. The girl there was not welcoming or keen on serving us at all. People that arrived after us were served first. I could tolerate all this if the food delivered but it was very underwhelming. The hummus was bland, the pitas were not fresh and the beef was cold and lacking flavor. The kibbeh and falafel were very small and over-fried. Toronto has a large community of Lebanese residents and is spoiled with quality Lebanese restaurants to choose from. THIS PLACE WOULD NOT LAST 6 MONTHS IN TORONTO. If I had to say something positive about this place it would be that the prices were reasonable. However, the portions were very small. There is no reason to ever entertain...
