Recently i moved to Barcelona to pursue my dream job of being a filmmaker. I am staying with my friend whilst I can find a place, and he knows the city like the back of his hand; his name is danny. Danny is part Spanish, part English and part German and fluent in all three. I work just around the corner from this place and danny took me there because apparently these are the best kebabs in the whole of Barcelona. I am not going to lie, I was a little hesitant because that is a big thing to claim. Anyhow we approached the opening to restaurant and were greeted by a very friendly member of staff. We order a mixture without tomatoe and with spicy sauce. I tell you no lie. One bite into it my head exploded, I saw my life flash before my eyes, I was in heaven. And it was beautiful! Every lunch break now, me and danny head to Byblos to order our usual. It's cheap, tasty and friendly food!! The...
Read moreI went for dinner and had 1 shawarma with hummus, 3 stuffed falafel balls with a little bit of salad on the side, and a bottle of water. I was charged 12,50€ for all of that.
In my opinion, it is a clean restaurant, they use good quality ingredients and the service was fast (keep in mind that I was the only customer at the time of my visit so this may vary).
As for the taste, I wouldn’t say they’re delicious, but definitely above average. I think both the shawarma and the white sauce (like mayonnaise they put on top) lacked some flavor, perhaps by adding more salt they could improve them.
I would recommend this place in case you live in Barcelona. Yet, if you’re here on vacations and have only one shot, better to try other options (El cocinero de Damasco or Musta Shawarma just to...

I had 2 shawarma and the lamb one clearly won over the chicken in taste and overall performance. The lamb has great flavour and the salsas complimented it well. The chicken was a bit bland in comparison but that’s to be expected also.
Thankfully they use the proper bread and not the oblivious industrial one most places use.
Unfortunately they do not offer fries or some menu type meal, but it works.
The place was quite busy late at night but I got seating inside which was still okay for me even being summer time.
I’ve tested 20+ kebabs here and this one is not at the top, but pretty close. Can...
