Cafeteria Vivari — Restaurant in Barcelona

As a regular customer, I was very disappointed on my visit for my usual bite to eat. A female member of the staff treated me like a school child without respect. She spoke to me as if I had a hearing difficulty and looked at me with an angry expression. I asked her to be nice, while I was taking the money to pay her from my wallet, she shouted at me, and added 20 cents on to my bill. I asked her to wait and she embarrassed me in front of the other customers. Usually the staff here are very nice, but today July 12th is very hot and I needed refreshment. I wish I hadn't arrived here. I'm upset and a bit shaking. This is not the first time from this particular member of staff! Hoy 22/08 he venido con mis hermanas a merendar. El lugar está bien, es amplio, hay variedad de productos y Wifi, etc.. pero lo que es más importante, la atención al cliente, es pésima!! Hay dos chicas trabajando y me sabe fatal porque debe ser duro trabajar aquí pero no justifico nada! (yo trabajo cara al público y se lo que es, pero nunca trataría a las personas así, y menos a niñas) Íbamos a pedir tres ofertas de bocadillo+bebida y primeramente me han juzgado diciendo “tres para ti?! “ (cuando no entra el comentario, no hay confianza ni siquiera a sido a buenas) cuando le he dicho que si me a dicho que no hay pan, después ha hablado con la compañera y le ha dicho que si hay pan, entonces me ha dicho que si mejor quería solo uno. SI TE PEDÍ TRES ES PORQUE SON TRES, no uno, y si tenía pan, que lo acababa de escuchar en mi cara! Entonces con mala cara y poca educación se fue a hacer los bocadillos, yo le especifiqué que uno sin tomate ya que mi hermana es alérgica y me miró y me escucho. Cuando voy a buscar los bocadillos veo que todos tenían tomate. Le dije que le había dicho uno sin! Y me empieza a decir que no pasa nada que hay poco: le repito que es alérgica y que necesitamos otro. Me mira y viene la otra compañera y me repite que hay poco tomate que ni se nota! Y le digo que no. Entonces se quedan las dos en blanco con cara de que les da igual, y molestas porque “le habíamos hecho hacer un bocata” (De las peores cosas en ir a comer algún lugar es que te atiendan como si molestaras!) entonces les digo si tienen otro pan o que, y no me contestan simplemente me dicen que me darán medio bocadillo en vez de entero. Yo me quería ir ya así que le digo que me cobre rápido y que me descuente algo por el bocadillo. Me quería cobrar de más!! Y le dije que los cálculos no me daban, entonces me dijo: ah si… y me puso 0’50 céntimos menos. Atención de las dependientas pésima, y me sabe mal porque al estar cerca de casa había venido antes y había otras dependientas más simpáticas. A parte está sucio el lugar. Pd: EL PAN DURÍSIMO,...

Yummy pastries, good coffee selection, fair prices, and cordial staff. I ordered a sandwich, mini chocolate croissant, and a café con Leche (total cost: €5.50).

While I had a little trouble ordering due to the language barrier, the staff were very accommodating and got my order correct. I enjoyed my light breakfast at this spacious and airy venue, and will be returning during my leg in Barcelona.
