Restaurant Coral — Restaurant in Barcelona

I ate here after it was recommended by a local and at 2pm it was crowded with patrons. Delicious food- a little of everything is offered- pasta, seafood, tapas. I was craving beef so I ordered the Coral Hamberguesa, which is more like a Salisbury steak, but without the brown sauce (I never liked this sauce anyhow). On top was goat cheese and raspberry jam and it rested on a bed of arugula. It was quite delicious and I wish dishes like this were more common in the states. The manager was also the head waiter and he seemed to enjoy bringing people their food. Afterwards I had a tiny cup of some VERY strong coffee, but with sugar it was delicious. I'm glad it was...

We stumbled upon Restaurant Coral last year while exploring near our hotel, and it turned out to be one of the best finds of our trip! Even during the busy lunch rush, the service was prompt and attentive. We started with a couple of cañas and then enjoyed an unforgettable paella and merluza that we still yearn to have again.

Si pudiera ponerle 0 estrellas se las pondría. Y no porque la comida esté mala pero creo q es importante comer en un sitio no sólo que esté rico sino que se respete y se trate bien al cliente. Llevaba 8 meses seguidos yendo una semana al mes a este restaurante y reservando siempre mi mesa la semana anterior para no tener sorpresas y resulta que hoy cuando hemos ido a comer, la mujer que siempre está en barra y que claramente siempre lleva una cara como si fueras allí a pedirle q te invite a comer o a pedirle dinero, nos dice y de muy malas maneras, sin apenas dejarme hablar, que la mesa que me tenía reservada a mi y a mi compañera la ha tenido q liberar porque ha venido alguien hoy a reservar una mesa de 6 y ella solo tenía una de 4 disponible, así q necesitaba la mía para poder coger esa reserva, por lo q si yo quería comer ahí tenía q hacerlo en la barra. Hemos intentado explicarle que ya teníamos una reserva hecha con tiempo y solo ha servido para que nos gritara más y nunca tuvo ninguna disculpa hacia nosotras. Por desgracia no teníamos tiempo de buscar otro sitio para comer y hemos tenido q hacerlo ahí, pero lo que sí tengo claro es que no volveré. Es una pena que con la de gente q hoy en día necesita trabajo, personas como esta señora estén ocupando sitios que no merecen. Hay otros restaurantes buenos en esa zona así que si podéis elegir,...
