Casa do Açaí Esmorzar i Cafè — Restaurant in Barcelona

Great little spot, but it’s popularity is the only criticism.

Great food, lovely service, but it takes a while to get noticed, seated and then able to order. I think we waited 15 mins for that to get done.

But that meant after an hour, they wanted us to leave. Sure, we spent plenty - but it seems that even while still drinking the coffee and orange you had with your meal, they want the table back. When you deduct the time it took them to give it to us, it gets kinda rude.

So definitely all the positives of ambience, quality ingredients and great recipes - i shouldn’t be forced to leave because you have a problem with seating/demand.

A solid 4 out...

Went with my girlfriend and we were aware that a hipster couple next to us were asked to write a review for a free desert and drink as the cafe wanted “more customers like them to come”. We waited patiently for the chance to be offered such a deal but it didn’t happen. I assume because I didn’t have a 25 year old knitted jersey and a crucifix earring. You will feel very at home if you consider yourself to be a hipster, one meal was described as “Instagram approved”. This place has what looks like a great menu and the interior is kind of nice. I didnt have too much time so I ordered a poke bowl which is mainly raw food and should take 5 minutes to make especially in a half empty restaurant. The poke bowl arrived 35 minutes late after we asked 3 time how much time is left and everytime "2 minutes". The bowl it self was from my side a 6 out of 10 and my gf thought it was 4 out of 10.
