My friends and I had an absolutely horrible experience at Chill Bar. The bartender was either incredibly intoxicated/high or experiencing a medical emergency. She stumbled into the seating area shortly after we arrived and eventually the server put her at a table where she was left face down on the table for the next hour until the chef came, lifted her head up for her, checked her pulse and seemed worried. The server & who we assumed was the owner seemed annoyed and unbothered by state of the bartender. We ordered white sangria but because of the bartender, we waited almost an hour to get red sangria (it was the only thing the server could make?). We ordered nachos with guacamole on the side because one of us has an avocado allergy but the avocado came on top of the nachos. The other food was also kinda meh, not horrible but not great. Different people showed up to check on the bartender for the next 1.5-2 hrs. We watched the bartender sob and slip in and out of consciousness, which made our dining experience quite horrible as we were concerned for her health and no one seemed to be doing much of anything. We expected at least our not white sangria to be free given this horrible experience, but no we were charged even for the sangria that we didn’t order / want and no attempts were made by any staff to make up for the horrible experience. Do not...

I used to live just around the corner from Chill Bar, and for years it became my go-to spot — not just for a drink or a bite, but for comfort, connection, and that unmistakable Barcelona magic. This isn’t just a bar; it’s a place where memories are made and familiar faces become friends.
The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming — whether you're popping in solo, with friends, or meeting someone new. The staff? Absolute gems. Friendly, attentive, and always up for a laugh or a good recommendation.
Over the years, I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu — and I keep coming back for more. Their cocktails are on point, the food hits just the right spot, and the playlists always seem to match the mood. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned — and never regret it.
If you're in Barcelona and looking for a cozy, vibrant spot with great vibes and even better people, Chill Bar is it. It holds a special place in my heart, and I’m forever grateful for the countless good times I’ve...
Read moreOn our month long vacation in the UK we peeled off to Barcelona for 3 days. We paid a visit to the Chill Bar for a quick lunch and we lucked out. All around the food was very good and well prepared. Our cocktails were made to the same standard. This restaurant is centrally located in the city and a very short walk from the Sagrada Familia Basilica (a must see place if you visit Barcelona)
This woman came over to talk to us and we discovered that she was the owner. She sat with us for maybe 20 mins as we discussed her time living in England, moving back to Barcelona and her restaurant/bar - it was an unexpected and enjoyable conversation. The staff was attentive before the owner sat down with us.
On the way out the staff treated us to a complementary shot of whatever we wanted at the bar. That was a nice touch. I highly recommend the Chill Bar and its an ideal stop after taking the tour of Sagrada Familia (make sure you pay for the guided tour it's a much...
