We made a reservation for a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment 10 months ahead of our trip. On the day of arrival, they sent an email at 10:45 AM informing me the apartment was not available, and they had to move us to another location, 20 mins walking distance from their Sagrada Familia building. I was on a plane when the email was sent, so I didn't see it until we arrived at the apartment building. We ended up taking a taxi to the new location in Gracia. We couldn't get into the apartment building, and no one was in the office when we arrived in the mid afternoon. Their door system recognized my name, but stated that there was a problem, and wouldn't let me in. There was no phone at the entrance of the building. I ended up having to make a long distance call to their main office. After talking to a lady on the phone and waiting for over 30 minutes on the street with all our suitcases, someone finally came to let us in. The apartment we ended up staying in only had 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, not the 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, with SPA access that we had already paid for 10 months ago. I called back, tried to talk to their manager about this, but he was not available. I finally got a phone number for the manager and talked to him on our last day of stay, which was a week ago. He told me to sent an email for the complaint. I did so, and no one has replied, even with my follow up. I made the reservation through Expedia, and they sent emails about this on my behalf with no success. All I asked for is a refund for the price difference between the two apartments, and the taxi charge, which is more than fair. I paid for 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, close to Sagrada Familia; I got 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 20 minutes away from Sagrada Familia. The apartment was nice and clean. As long as you don't have problems, it's fine. However, if you have any issues, even as simple as needing more bathroom tissues or towels, don't expect to get anyone to help without waiting for at least 20-30 minutes because no one is in the office during most hours of the day, and it will take them that long to get to the building. The key system and technology they use sounds nice, but during the 3 days we stayed there, we weren't the only customers having problems getting in. Technology still can't replace true...
Read moreHave been staying here for my hen weekend which was a surprise I have been looking forward to for a long time and I’ll be honest, my lovely friends who booked this were completely misled by the owners and it has left a bad taste in my mouth.||||Firstly, we opted to pay for an early check in as we were arriving fairly early and were going straight out. When we arrived the room that we’d paid for was not ready with the floor wet and kitchen very untidy. The cleaner also tried to send us away for a few hours which given we paid for this, is completely unacceptable. We also had nowhere else to go!||||Secondly, we paid for the package that included the spa access. When we went to go into the spa we were informed that we could not all go in (8 of us wanted to go with a couple wanting to pay for treatments) and we were only allowed in as groups of 4. Nowhere on the booking confirmation stated this and my lovely friends would never have chosen this accommodation had we known this for obvious reasons; we want to spend our time together! The woman at the spa was very dismissive and when we called the owners to complain we were fobbed off.||||In all honestly, this place should have been great but part of the reason people stay is for the overall experience. We had a 2 bedroomed 2 bathroom apartment.The area of Sant Pau where the apartment is, is a quiet residential area,but,has sufficient bars,places to eat,shops,supermarkets and souvenir shops.||Maybe the cleaning lady could have been a little nicer,we returned to collect our suitcases and she banged the door open and told us to leave it open!!!
