During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of dining at Green&Burger — a cozy, 100% plant-based spot just a short walk from Sagrada Familia.
🌱 Vibes: I absolutely loved the positive atmosphere of this place. The decor is warm and welcoming, with a clear message of compassion — “Animals in my heart, not on my plate” is featured on the wall and printed on little cards they give out. It perfectly sums up the spirit of the restaurant.
🍛 Food: • Curry (Curry Que Te Pillo): This was hands-down my favorite dish. The curry was flavorful, comforting, and perfectly spiced. It came loaded with fresh veggies and served with a generous portion of rice — a super satisfying, nourishing meal. • Katsu Sandwich (Katsu Heura): Also fantastic! Crunchy breaded vegan katsu, fresh greens, and pickled veggies in a crusty roll. Great textures and flavor contrast. It made for the perfect casual lunch option. • Extras: The menu is creative and fun — I could easily come back several times and not get bored.
💚 Overall: If you’re in Barcelona and looking for a relaxed, delicious vegan meal near Sagrada Familia, this spot is a gem. They truly walk the talk with their message of compassion and sustainability. I’d absolutely return for that...
Read moreJust finished an exhausting day of walking Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. The restaurant was quick walk across the park from the Passion side of the basilica. My wife is vegetarian, borderline vegan, and I eat anything, but I'm considering becoming one myself after our experience. We ordered a few tapas and different burgers so we could try each other's. We wish we could try more in the sitting because the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I had the Magic burger with side of gazpacho, earthy and refreshing on a hot summer evening. My wife had the Passion burger and sweet potatoes, closer to the typical vegetarian options in the USA, but still innovative. The atmosphere was welcoming and modern and the restaurant was clean. Service was courteous and helpful with recommendations. Oh, don't forget a scoop of hazelnut ice cream at the end. I would say if you just got done having your soul filled across the way at the Sagrada Familia, eat at Green&Burger after to have your appetite filled. Highly recommended restaurant for vegetarians and their soon to be...
