Copitas Bar de Vinos — Restaurant in Barcelona

We found this place by luck, after dinner nearby. And we are so glad we went in! Super nice staff who really knows what they are doing and serving. They gave us homemade hummus and olives when we first sat down, and that’s a good start. The hummus was amazing. We order a cheese plate for 2 persons, and everything was delicious! I even loved the bread :) As tourist we wanted to try some new wine, and they let us taste the wine before we ordered a glass, that’s really good service I might say.

The food was great, the place was really intimate and nice - but the people are amazing. They gave us the experience in Barcelona we really wanted to have. Copitas is a small bar, animated by Pascal and his team. Pascal shows us some of the French gastronomic niceties by organizing thematic soirées, like choucroutte, soupe à l'oignon, escargots, steak tartare (knife hand cut), or oysters. Interesting place, for some reason is not so common to find french places in Barcelona. We went for the Oysters the other day and it's actually a really good deal price wise. The staff was really kind, and we got some awesome wine. I was also surprised by the size and variety of their mixed ham and cheese platter.
