Would have given this place higher marks, but the service was terrible. Sat on the patio (very nice), went inside to let them know we were out there....... No service, do I went in and the wait staff was wiping tables, he saw me and responded that he forgot. Ordered drinks and tapas.... My champagne glass had lipstick and orange juice pulp on it...went in to get a clean glass. The female waitstaff picked up the glass, never asking how our food was, if we wanted another drink, but had time to go have a cigarette and another break for using her phone....at least the food was good. The male staff (how must be working the inside) has walked by our table numerous times to take out trash or deliver food to the other table.... Never been by ours. Waited for someone to come get our order for our main course, as we shared an appetizer, no show I took our appetizer dishes in and ordered drinks. No apparent concern from the staff. Apparently the service staff could use some training... HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

The pub itself is a great bar and very lively for sport. HOWEVER, the owner is very rude. I went outside to go to my flat which is a min walk away at half time for the match I was watching. I came back and there was a queue to get in. So I politely popped my head in the door and said ‘excuse me, I’ve already been in and am sat at a table with friends’ which he proceeded to say to me nothing else to me apart from ‘no you’re not’ and just stared at me wanting me to react. That’s not how you do business and there was no need for the attitude. I was very polite and all I received in return was an angry gesture and passive aggressiveness. He could have just been polite and said that I need wait outside until some people leave and I of course would have accepted. Wouldn’t usually write a bad review as I believe in helping businesses. Hi. I am celiac so I cannot drink regular beer. Its mandatory for us to have gluten free beer. Its not the first time that I find this situation and I kindly ask the managers to review this policy. When you ask for gluten free beer in an Irish pub, the only option they offer is gluten free + alcohol free together. Its absolutely not the same and I find this policy discriminatory and unkind. Not drinking alcohol is a personal decision but not taking gluten is mandatory for an unfortunate disease which limit us on many options to eat and drink. You run an Irish pub where people come to have fun with friends and share drinks most of them with alcohol. Please do not help limiting our already limited options… Hope you can reconsider and all celiacs which love beer will be most thankful....
