Hamburgueseria Goiko — Restaurant in Barcelona

I recently visited this place with high expectations based on previous online orders from Goiko Grill, but unfortunately, this experience was far from satisfying. We ordered a Hat-trick burger that was supposed to have three layers of smashed meat, but it arrived with only two. When we pointed this out and asked for it to be corrected, the staff reluctantly changed it, but instead of the fried onions that mentioned in the description, they swapped them with fresh ones. Even after the second attempt, the burger was still wrong.

To make matters worse, we also ordered the Kevin Bacon burger, and it looked nothing like the picture. It was tasty, but part the burger from the side barely had any meat—it was mostly bun. When we raised this issue, the waitress told us that the meat had just “moved to the side,” which was obviously not the case. Comparing the real burger to the one advertised online was almost laughable.

Additionally, we ordered Hat-trick burger with French fries, but they served it with another type even with the 2nd attempt. The fries themselves were visibly reheated, probably reused from an earlier batch, which is unacceptable. It was clear they didn’t care about the quality of food or service.

This was quite a disappointment, especially since previous orders from Goiko Grill were excellent. Sadly, this experience has left a bad impression, so we are not thinking of returning...

Llevaba mucho tiempo sin publicar nada y que mejor hacerlo con un local que ya he visitado varias veces y que creo que ya me siento en el moemnto de poder valorarlo…. Podria aventurarme a decir que la moda de las burgers y los locales que se aventuraron hacer frente a las grandes cadenas que venden dicho producto comienza como hace unos 10 años en bcn y que uno de los primeros locales que fue sino mal recuerdo BAKOA. La idea que proponen estos locales es cuidar mas al detalle el pan, las salsas diferentes inclusives podriamos llamarles recetas caseras, productos mas frescos, combinaciones mas de autor, locales con mas encanto que los de las cadenas mas grandes que ya conocemos… y sobretodo la carne que es el ingrediente principal de dicho producto que sea mucho mas cuidada y hasta podriamos decir sabrosa… Como toda idea o proyecto con el paso del tiempo evolucionan, quizas algunas se van quedando atras pero la burger llego para quedarse y con fuerza y obviamente en una ciudad como barcelona cosmopolita es un producto que exige que siempre se este cuidando y evolucionando por la demanda que existe… Goiko es uno de esos proyectos que ha sabido hacerlo y me alegro mucho por ello, inclusive tuve la oportunidad un dia de leer un articulo de como nacio todo y la verdad que me gusto mucho, yo como siempre comento en mis comentarios o en varios de ellos llevo muchos años en el mundo de la gastronomia y gracias a ello cuando me toca sentarme como cliente en algun establecimiento intento ser objetivo y tolerante con lo que me llevo de cada local para luego poder dar una valoracion sobre ellos… y espero no hacer daño a ningun local pero si espero que mi valoracion ayude para mejorar en caso de que sea leido por el establecimiento al cual me tomo el tiempo de valorar…. Asi que vamos con la descripcion EL SERVICIO Es algo que valoro muchisimo muchisimo de cada local que visito porque es algo que para mi es muy importante ya que la persona que nos atiende o recibe es la que hara que nuestra experiencia como cliente sea difrente a las del resto… en el caso de goiko siempre he de decir que te atienden con respeto, pero me sorprende que los trabajadores siendo latinos no sean tan cercanos con el cliente …. En varios de los que visite me encontre con personal latino por eso lo menciono y no lo menciono por ningun mal sentido porque yo tambien soy latino que quede claro…. Pero bueno el trato aceptable…. Pero he de decir que las dos veces que visite el de via laietana el local estaba bastante vacio y que el camarero venga a tomar tu orden es bieennnn lento y que la burger llegue a tu mesa tambien…

ESTABLECIMIENTOS Como podreis he publicado varias fotos de las cuales pertenecen 2 al de via laietana, 1 al del cc diagonal mar que era recien inaugurado y el cuarto y ultimo que fui ayer y con el que ya decidi publicar mi valoracion es el que esta ubicado en calle independencia …. TODOS EN BCN Todos ellos comparten una estetica similar y la verdad hay que resaltar que se nota que le ponen empeño a la estetica y siempre por suerte han estado bastantes cuidados..

PROMOS 3 de las 4 veces que he ido es por una promo que hacen por lo visto cada cierto tiwmpo de un 2x1 y la verdad he de decir que me parece una buena idea de fidelizar a la clientela, pero tambien hay que comentar que son bastantes activos a la hora de publicar otro tipo de ofertas y eso hace que tambien la gente le entre mas interes.. asi que punto a favor por ese lado Aunque he de decir como critica que sino hubiese sido por dicha promocion del 2x1 yo no hubiese pagado el valor de la smash burger que tienen… en mi opinion me parece un pelin cara..

LA HAMBURGUESA De las 4 veces que he visitado GOIKO 3 veces he decidido irme por la smash y una vez por la que lleva el huevo . La carne de la smash he de decir que de sabor o la hamburguesa en si de sabor esta rica pero como bien dije antes me parece un pelin cara aunque esa opinion es personal y he de decir que las 3 veces que las he probado han sido...

After a six-year absence from Spain, I was eager to revisit Goiko Burgers, a place I had once enjoyed for its high-quality food. Regrettably, my recent experience was far from what I remembered.

The quality of the meat, which used to be a standout feature of Goiko Burgers, was notably disappointing. The beef in my burger tasted old and lacked the freshness and flavor that made their burgers exceptional in the past. This significant decline in meat quality was unexpected and disheartening.

While the service remained attentive and professional, the overall dining experience was marred by other issues. The fries served were clearly frozen and did not meet the standards I had previously associated with Goiko Burgers. This, combined with the subpar meat quality, made for a meal that did not live up to my expectations.

In summary, while the service was still commendable, the quality of the food fell short of what I had come to appreciate. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively and that Goiko Burgers can restore the high standards that once made them a favorite. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I cannot recommend this location...
