Came here Friday after walking by a couple times earlier in the week. I swayed my wife and two young kids to get a table, even though the place was empty. My wife was skeptical, but after seeing the owner make two huge homemade sangrias (used gin, Cointreau , and a mix of other bottles) she settled in. We noticed a couple people say hi and then walk to the back. The front area was hot, so I took a peek at the back and noticed that the back patio was filled with locals/no one even spoke English. We asked if we could move and the owner obliged. You order off a board so ask for translations if needed...which I did. We ordered a few dishes (fried pork, salmon bombas, mussels, pork with teriyaki, seafood salad ). My 4 and 6 year old girls loved the salmon bombas which were olives, cheese and salmon. The mussels were delish and my wife and I sucked down the sauce. The pork teriyaki was cooked perfectly and not like I had expected...it was better with the sauce not too sweet. We ordered some more bombas and then the fired pork came...wow! Little chicharrones with delish bits of pork attached to the skin. Better than any I have had in San Francisco! We ordered another right away. After watching some fish dish head to several tables, I asked the owner what it was...white anchovies. We ordered one and we all loved it...including my 4/6 year olds. The owner and one other person (possibly co-owner) run the show...cooking, taking orders, making drinks. With the back patio filled, they could probably use more staff...but they were hustling. The owner let us know that they just one week old....which made this find even more special. With no reviews on google or yelp, we took a chance and were rewarded. OUR FAVORITE MEAL IN BARCELONA and we ate at numerous highly rated tapas bars during our 6 nights in Barcelona. (Also try the local home brew from a local brewer...

Read moreTheir tapas, service, and ambiance were all perfect! We got 3 orders of bread with tomatoes, artichoke dish, eggplant dish, pulled pork cheek, scallops, T-bone steak, and the special of the day, which was fish with eggs. Bread with tomatoes were crunchy, buttery from the olive oil, and refreshing from the tomato. Delicious! The artichoke dish was mixed in with beef and egg. Very yummy. Pulled pork cheek was very tender and juicy. Scallops were smaller than US scallops but delicious regardless. T-bone steak was a bit chewy. This was the only dish that let me down. The fish with eggs was AMAZING. This was my favorite! 10/10 recommend if you're...
