El Fornet — Restaurant in Barcelona

After hopping off the Barcelona City tour bus, we saw this coffee shop, it looked really nice and clean so we figured we'd have lunch there. We take a table directly across from the main counter where all the staff and pastries are. A man approaches our table and begins speaking really fast and, to make a long story short, he snatches my dads bag and makes a run for the door!

Now, I'm not gonna act like that isn't something that happens in Barcelona, and I am in no way blaming them for the robbery. Where my problem lies is how the staff handled the situation during and after the fact. They stood and watched the whole thing happen, they offered us no assistance, they didn't help us call the police, and even though there were 4 cameras in that area from what i saw, they were unwilling to help us with getting the footage to the authorities. They simply acknowledged they saw the guy, and then proceed to act like nothing happened! We had no idea what to do, we're Canadian, we didnt even know what the number for police was! If it weren't a really nice man that was sitting near us, I dont know what we would have done. For a place where theft is so common, I expected SOME sort of procedure in regards to handling a theft IN their cafe, DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ALL OF THEIR STAFF!

Awful employees and...

Motivo por el cual quito estrellas, lo explico a continuacion, por la atencion al cliente recibida. Un lindo y acogedor lugar para tomar un café o alguna merienda, también para tener alguna reunión. Aunque es un lugar costoso, en mi dia no tuve suerte (ahora trabajo muy cerca) y he ido dia jueves por la mañana (20-05-2021) (Hora: 10:30am) por el desayuno, una joven de la caja quien me toma el pedido, fue muy grosera y descorté al explicarme el cafe, deben considerar que mucha gente de otros países y cultura pueden asistir al lugar y/o hablar en otros idiomas, pero no fue mi caso el idioma, para que se riera y fuera borde en explicar un cafe cortado. Del resto, cabe destacar que no son todas, pero si esa experiencia me deja por pensar el volver o no ir... el servicio es muy importante, y el sentirse comodo en poder pedir sin algo sin que se burlen en tu cara por no saber o conocer algún...

A evitar! Servicio PESIMO, falta de modales. Pregunte por una quiche y me dijeron, a gritos desde el otro lado del mostrador, que era de espinacas.Al ser vegetariana le dije que por favor me sirviera esa. Al salir del establecimiento y probarla me di cuenta que era de carne ( no había espinacas) . Cuando se lo hice saber a la dependienta, ni un disculpa, su respuesta fue te "Te dije que llevaba espinaca y carne", no es cierto, me había servido una Quiche Lorraine. Pedí que me devolvieran el dinero y me hicieran un ticket de devolución a la tarjeta con la que pagué. La dependienta, de muy malas formas, me dijo que " Llevará tiempo hacer el ticket " y le dijo a su compañera, "saca el dinero de la caja yo no me hago responsable" Y así sacó el dinero y no me facilitó...
