Ramen Shifu - Diagonal — Restaurant in Barcelona

Guys the ramen here is so bad. I have no idea how it’s 4.9 stars on google maps. I’ve never had worse ramen in my life and I’ve had a lot of ramen. Please don’t come here if you’re looking for delicious ramen 🙏😭

The broth was so disappointing, the chashu pork slices had a weird smell, and their ramen egg was horrendous. And I was so hungry when I was there, so most things should taste better. But trust me, the ramen here is bad. The best thing they served was the Asahi beer, and it’s because all they had to do was to open the bottle 🥲

EDIT: Ermmm look at the restaurant management’s reply below, they’re trying to make it sound like I didn’t actually eat there?? lol there’s a photo of a bowl of ramen with your restaurant name on it girl. Attached a screenshot of my banking app to prove that I was just there last night. Also idk what investigations y’all can do, the ingredients were not fresh and the broth was very bad. You can just go taste it yourself, no investigation is needed. And go look at the other reviews that gave them 5 stars: how many of them only posted photos of an empty restaurant and have no photos...

Todo un despropósito. La nota media de 4.9 del local a fecha de abril de 2025 es imposible de creer. Es un restaurante Xino que venden algo que dicen que es ramen y mas cosas. El caldo es industrial, sin parecido alguno a lo que debería ser un ramen, sin sabor ni textura ni nada de nada. No hace falta irse a un caldo Aneto para compararlo, el mas simple de supermercado le puede hacer sombra. La diferencia es que en este sitio lo venden como “casero”. Lo que dicen que es chashu no lo es, es una especie de lomo de cerdo congelado. Los fideos, como no podía ser de otra manera, son industriales y de los malos. Todo lo que sirven es industrial y congelado. El arroz blanco es basmati!!!Basmati en un local “japonés”… es insultante. El dueño o encargado es xino y trata muy muy mal a los trabajadores, que son indios.

Si llamas para reservar verás que quien te atiende va muy rápido… pregunta la hora y el nombre de la reserva pero no apuntan nada, me pareció raro cuando llamé y al ir al local lo he podido ver con mis ojos; cuelgan y nadie apunta nada.

Pedimos entrantes, ramen y bebidas. Primero trajeron el ramen, luego los entrantes y la bebida la tuvimos que reclamar. A parte de eso, el ramen vino sin huevo y también lo tuvimos que reclamar.

Tienen dos tamaños de ramen, 100gr y 200gr, que en principio hacen referencia a la pasta… el de 100gr es un plato para niño y el de 200gr es el pequeño de adulto. Los complementos son carísimos… 4€ por extra de chashu (que no lo es), 3€ por 50gr de pollo o shitake.

En fin… que si lo que quieres es pagar para que te medio llenen la barriga este es tu sitio. Si quieres comer ramen mejor ni te lo plantees.

No hace falta que la empresa que tengas contratada responda la reseña con buenas palabras, todo lo que he escrito aquí es completamente cierto y nada es un accidente, es el modelo de negocio de esta gente.

EDITADO: Como la respuesta del la empresa que gestiona las reseñas pone en duda que fui a comer, adjunto una fotografía. Como veis por las rosas, corresponde al 23/04. Se puede ver el arroz basmati (basmati en un sitio japonés!!) el ramen sin huevo y que todo está servido en la mesa sin el orden que se pidió. El olor y el sabor no se puede apreciar en una fotografía pero así os ahorráis el mal rato. ¿Dicen no tienen constancia de que hubiera problemas durante la cena que sirvieron la comida rápida congelada imitando un ramen? Me quejé del orden de los platos, del huevo y de las bebidas. No dije nada del sabor (o mejor dicho, de la ausencia de sabor) del caldo porque, evidentemente, saben que lo que sirven es comida de 5ª gama. De nuevo, no hace falta que la empresa que gestiona las reseñas responda, lo que tienen que hacer es no engañar diciendo que es...

Fake Japanese venue, ran by Chinese using industrially Chinese-made ingredients. The ramen consist of chicken soup, nothing to do with real Japanese ramen. Everything that needs any cooking (chicken, duck, prawns, dumplings, giozas, etc) comes frozen from Chinese suppliers (see pictures). They had a freezer by the toilets and you could just open it and see by yourself.

I order pork ramen. The pork was very tough and there was no flavour.

When we left we were offered free stuff in exchange for a review. This explains the straight 5 stars. Most reviews are not genuine, they are mostly bought in exchange of freebies.

There are many authentic and fabulous Japanese restaurants in Barcelona. This is clearly not one of...
