El Xupitero — Restaurant in Barcelona

My meal at El Xupitero was one I'll never forget! We ended up there due to the great reviews and had the best steaks we've had maybe ever. The food was fantastic which is important of course but what really made the night was the restaurant owners, they invited us over to another couples table and we all had a great time talking while the owner Luis poured shots of our preferred drink for us at no expense to us. This kind of experience is something they have created for their customers, it's about the people more than the food and having seen a lot of Barcelona on my trip, this will be what sticks with me for years to come. From the moment we entered the door, Joyce & Luis (Owner & Chef) treated our party as family. In addition to that the food is amazing here. Started with wonderful soup, salad, tapas. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are in this area! The owner and waiter/bartender of this restaurant are so kind and fun. They will make you feel like you are at home.
