L'Escamarlà — Restaurant in Barcelona

I cannot say anything about the food in this restaurant since I didn't have time even to taste it. I will describe here the experience I had as a tourist: we were two families with three kids ( 4, 3 and 2 years old). At 15pm I approached and asked for a reservation. I was told that a table could take 50 min. I said clearly to the lady: this is ok, but since the kids cannot wait this long I will buy something for them in Mac donalds (which was besides the reataurant). So I bought some hamburguers and Fries for the 3 kids only. Passed 15 min I was said that the table was available. So I brought the kids food to the restaurant (remember we were 4 adults who were looking for sea food and and 3 young hungry kids). The kids started to eat the hamburguers, we parents just selected the sea food and suddenly a very arrogant waiter or manager or watever came and said : "we don't accept competitor food in the restaurant. They can eat outside". We were 4 adults looking for their food and they created such a bad environment in the restaurant, every customers around were very chocked with the behavior of that man not allowing the kids to eat their favorite food that simply we decided to go...... It was very disappointing to face such behavior.... Very aggressive man with kids eating Mac donalds while the parents were looking for the wines and sea food.... Not kids friendly at all... Do...

I have been here a couple of times, and I must say that I've always had a positive experience with both the food and the service. However, today was a different story. I made a complaint about the seafood, which was unfortunately not enjoyable at all. The texture and taste were not up to the usual standard I have come to expect from this restaurant.

To make matters worse, when I brought this issue to the attention of the manager, I was disappointed by their response. They were not willing to provide any form of compensation or address the issue in a satisfactory manner. This lack of customer service was quite surprising and disappointing, especially given my previous positive experiences here.

I understand that not every dining experience can be perfect, but I believe that a good restaurant should be willing to acknowledge and rectify mistakes when they occur. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my recent visit. I hope that in the future, the restaurant can maintain the high standards it has set in the past and be more responsive to...

We were there years ago and had a good experience so we decided to go back to eat the pella marinera, the food was very tasty which was appreciated but the service was terrible, the waiters were rude and had no desire to do anything, I understand that maybe they have bad days but that they all have the same rude mood, we ordered one I knew it was from a carton that was premade, if they are going to charge me more than 20 euros for sangria I hope it is homemade and not from a premade carton which I obviously complained about because the Sangria was horrible and the waiter who served me was in a very bad mood wanting me to drink it like that because according to him it is the sangria they sell the most but let's be honest the fact that you sell that horrible sangria and nobody says anything to you gives you the right to treat them badly for not accepting it, anyway a place not to repeat the bad service the paella is delicious but there are more places where you can eat well and where they treat you well and not as if they were giving me the...
