Jefferson Beach Bar — Restaurant in Barcelona

This is our second time at Jefferson restaurant. We initially wanted to go to a restaurant next to it but we needed a reservation. We ended coming to Jefferson and it was the best decision ever. We met the manager and he was such a vibrant Argentinian man. Our server, Luca was such a nice guy. He knew about all the plates and made such great recommendations. I also asked for a lighter brewed coffee and he knew exactly what I needed. Get the papas bravas, the mezzi plate, the croquettes, the tacos. Perfect bar right on the beach. This is one of the only beach bar restaurants that does not have extortionate prices on the menu for food and drink. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is perfect.

The menu is great with loads of choices for vegetarians with burgers, sandwiches and salads. Great cocktails also.

There is no feel of rushing from the staff who are happy for you to have a relaxed meal.

Bar is well placed and in a good location. Gets a great flow of people with its proximity to the sea and promenade. Drinks I felt where a bit exorbitant but can be expected so close to the sea and tourists. Their food on the other hand was poor! €13 for very poor tachos, as attacked, I felt is just shocking. Otherwise decent all round. 3 stars as they have all the makings of a high quality beach...
