La Mila Brunch — Restaurant in Barcelona

The good part was the atmosphere. Food was not bad.

But the service was below par. We were asked if we’d ordered about four times. Then they forgot one of the dishes (just a toast), and even after we told them, it took another 20 minutes to bring it. Barely an apology. We had to follow up again just to find out what was going on.

Then came the bill same story. Asked for the bill, Waited 10 minutes, nothing. I ended up going to the counter to pay. Told them the service wasn’t great, and they said the machines weren’t working. Fair enough, but honestly, most of the issues came from poor attention, not machine problems.

And then, at the counter, the guy I spoke to asked me twice if a cookie sitting there was mine. I said no both times. After I paid, he goes, “oh ok, than maybe you want it as an apology for the bad service, it’s good”.

I get it’s a new place, and it has its issues but the staff needs a lot of training, a lot or reviews like this one will...

We visited this brunch place in our area today, as it looked nice based on the reviews. The food was super nice—thanks a lot to the chefs behind it! Bear in mind that when they say “smoothies and juices,” this doesn’t mean they’re fresh. We ordered the detox option and expected freshly squeezed juice, especially considering the higher price. Unfortunately, it tasted like flavored water. The staff seemed more concerned with talking to each other than actually bringing food from the kitchen or clearing the plates. Considering how many wonderful brunch spots this city has to offer, these guys definitely have some room for...

Cute place but hygiene is disgusting. I was there with my pregnant wife and there's a dog that belongs to the restaurant (no problem so far). But that dog constantly had its paws on the pass where the chef puts the ready plates. On top of that the chef fed the dog with a piece of ham and didnt wash it hands after!!
