La Quesadilla by Fernando Sanz — Restaurant in Barcelona

Went with a group of friends during our night out and wanted to get a bite to eat based on the reviews we read. I can't review the food since we didn't eat but the atmosphere looked ok. The hostess looked annoyed that we wanted to ask about seats. She said we could eat outside but we decided not to due to the cold and the outside heater being out of propane. We noticed the bar had 4 chairs open and asked if we could sit there and she responded with impossible. Why are there seats at the bar if you can't sit there? Regardless she asked if we wanted to get something for carryout and we said no and left. For me, it was the perceived attitude from the hostess. Came here for lunch as the first meal in our holiday in Barcelona. We ordered the Guacomole (comes with deep fried nachos) and the Beef+Onion Quesadillas. A very nice family restaurant.

Both dishes were more than amazing and the service from the owner was superb. It's not even the end of the 1st day of my Barcelona trip and I am even thinking of visiting here again in the next few days.

It is a shame that they only open 3-4 hours a day. More people should know about this place!

[UPDATE] Came here again as mentioned above 2 days later. Tried their sangria and another Guacomole. The sangria was great and at a reasonable price. The owner was so happy to see us again and was (as always) friendly...

Ola! We went across this place by chance on our way to Park Güell. My boyfriend has already been in Barcelona twice and he had experience with a quesadilla, but I haven't eaten it yet, so I said to myself: "let's try it". I left this place with the fact that it was the best food of my life. I really liked it! The tastes, colors, smell of the food, everything was totally perfect. Big thumbs up also for the lovely waitress and for the great chefs who put all their experiences and hearts into the meals. Thank you!
