La Tasca d'Or — Restaurant in Barcelona

Unfortunately, our recent experience at La Tasca d'Or was extremely disappointing. We ordered a paella, only to discover that the chicken drumsticks were still frozen when served – clearly a major oversight in quality control and food safety.

We also ordered a pizza for our kids, which seemed identical to frozen pizzas you’d buy from the supermarket – very disappointing, especially considering the price and expectations for fresh food in a restaurant setting.

To top it off, my wife had the macaroni bolognese, which was completely bland and lacked any real flavor. Overall, the meal was underwhelming and did not meet the standards...

This was the worst meal I have ever had in my entire life. The appetizer looked like a bag of frozen veggies that had been microwaved, the fish we ordered was so salty we couldn’t not even take a bite, and the salad looked as if it had been out of the fridge for many days. Dessert was a weird apple tart with chocolate sauce. I have been many places and am not one to waste food - but this meal was the first time in my life where I sent an entire dish back...

Bar restaurant with menu and combined dishes, sandwiches and Spanish tapas... of medium or low level. It takes advantage of being in a very fortunate location for the constant passage of tourists who come or go to see the Sagrada Familia de Gaudí or another of its works that are in the same area and route: La Pedrera (Casa Milá). Clean installation, with a rather cold and distant service and prices above the quality that visitors deserve...
