Excellent location. Great service for the most part. Our server was super attentive, but the expo staff needed training. The tacos were exceptional, reminded me of Rubios Baja Grill, but better. But... I would suggest plating the Paella for the customer and using cloth towels for the handles instead of paper towels. The expo staff that brought it to us simply placed the paella pan in front of me, on the table, and said I could eat it straight out of the pan and toss shells on my dish. (Chef: remember that the dish only has 4 clam shells... I don't need a whole plate for that) When I questioned that, she was puzzled and asked what I wanted, instead of just offering to plate it for me. The paella was ok. Most dishes were priced correctly, with the exception of the Macarrons, which were horrendously expensive. Comparing this place to similar ones in the area, like La Pubilla, I would recommend offering a menu del día, rather than a la Carte service. When every item is priced individually, mistakes are more glaring on a 17€ dish. Lunch was 85€ for 2. At this price, I won't consider returning. La Pubilla is 45€ and much better. Reservations...
Read moreThe absolute worst service we have experienced since arriving in Spain in five months ago. We are traveling with 2 fluent Spanish speakers. We made a reservation. Arrived on time were seated immediately but waited a half hour for anyone to offer us drinks while everyone who was seated after us had rounds of drinks and tapas served. We finally ordered. My clams were so salty I literally couldn’t swallow. My daughter who speaks Spanish asked for a minor substitution and was told no. In no uncertain terms no. Ok fine. The food is totally mediocre or below. The steak is pully, the famous arroz was also so salty that it was impossible to eat. The salmon tar tar was mushy. Nothing about this place is worth even entering. I’ve never in my life left a negative review for a restaurant before but this is just impossible to let go. If you are a...
Read moreNice outdoor terrace with very attentive service. Great for business lunches. The croquetas were excellent! Lightly crispy and delicious filling. The spicy crystal shrimp was reminiscent of the little bites of Japanese river shrimps that is better with a cold glass of beer. The mussels in wine were super fresh and sweet, definitely a good dish to mop up with crusty bread. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, could use a lil more salt flakes on it for flavour but good nevertheless. The prawn and octopus arroz was very tasty and super flavourful. Definitely recommended. We also had the cheesecake and mousse Catalan which were very good. Cheesecake was rather unusual and curdy, with crunchy bits of sugar when you bite. But the créma Catalan mousse was delish. Finish off with an espresso. Pricey meal, portions were ok, not big....
