A gourmet experience in a family environment. The restaurant has few tables and you are waited on by the owner of the restaurant, a quiet elegant man, who in his attention to detail and protocol is very proud of the authentic food he serves. Lagman is the name of the owner’s wife, reinforcing that this restaurant is a labor of love.

Highly recommend the steaks here. The owner brings out samples of the cuts, emphasizing which have been aged for how long. We started with the recommendation from the house - jamon iberico with bread with tomato. Very delicious, likely the finest smoked ham we had the entire visit to Barcelona. Drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with a little sea salt, this was a step above what we had in other taperias.

The vegetables and scallop stir fry my wife ordered was fantastic- perfectly cooked. My filet was wonderful, soft and tasty. The beef was not as marbled or fatty as I am used to in the US, it tasted grass fed. Cooked perfectly and not too big. We capped it all with a mint ice cream that was a perfect palate cleanser.

I would definitely go back next time we are in Barcelona - this is a fantastic restaurant. Go with a few friends who know how to quietly enjoy good food - who relish a slow meal with red wine and chatting. It's new and very few people know this hidden gem at Les Corts. We've been there twice and they keep the service and the food in a superior league.

Second time we took some friends from NYC who spend most of time travelling and have the chance to experience great restaurants around the world. They left absolutely amazed about the food.

Everything tried, from starter to desert, exceed our expectations. The chef make the food with love and passion and the service is bespoke, so the result is me coming back :).

We visited Lagman’s back in October while on our honeymoon and it was hands down one of our favorite experiences. We accidently booked two reservations, but the server (the restaurant is named after his wife) was so kind to us. It was an intimate dinner that was INCREDIBLE! He spoke really good English (we tried our best with spanish) so we enjoyed spending time talking to him about Spain, his kids, different things in America. Everything in the restaurant was so elegant and beautiful and the food was absolutely unreal. Every bite got better and better. 10000/10 recommend stoping by for dinner while in Barcelona.
