Short version is that I can highly recommend this tour and this company below is more detailed tour and experience information. I will repeat my headline, this is your choice when you value high quality and personal touch. FYI I have some experience for same type of tours. It was very nice to have a guide who has been living in the country and the city for many years, knows the places and the culture.

The yards that you found for us were also super, I liked the personal touch which came from us being the only customers as well as from the yards being small.

It was also nice to see two very different kind of yards,

the first one which had been in the family for generations and was making wine for distribution and this vineyard was more like old school / traditional place. Owner served wine using Riedel glasses etc. and whole session was interactive where you got owners and guide full attention. Educational lesson and tasting (Cava, 2 white and 1 red)

The second one not so long in the current owner´s possession and is selling Cava to only a small amount of people. Here was also extremely nice personal touch for everything. Tasting 3 different Cava + tour + educational session. Young dynamic owner, more like new approach for everything, but of course main thing product itself = Cava was very good and first time ever was possible taste real clear differences between products.

And last but not least - the restaurant at the end of the day - fantastic view! Perfect choice for eating, we would never how found that place on our own. We was ordered tour where was included lunch break after Winery visits (optional + extra cost) notice that even there is extra cost for this it is very marginal

My Husband and I were so fortunate to have found Helen to show us the wonderful wine region of Priorat near Barcelona, Spain while on a vacation there last July. The trip is about a 3 hr car ride 1 way from Barcelona, but it was worth the drive. Coming from Northern California, we are spoiled to the riches of the Napa Valley. We learned of the Priorat AVA and wanted to explore what it offered with an expert guide. Helen understood our wishes and selected 3 fantastic wineries for our trip that also included a lunch. Our stops included a winery owned by one of the 5 guys who revived this region in the 70’s. It lived up to its hype. Focused on Grenache grape, their wine is complex and long lasting. Their wine making philosophy is to be respected. I won’t go into it. You just have to experience it for yourself. Next stop is an intimate lunch with wine pairing at a small family winery/hotel/restaurant. We toured their underground cellar accessible only by a single spiral staircase. It was fantastic. For lunch, they provided a delicious caprese salad and grilled vegetables and mushroom pasta paired with their wines; such a pleasant meal. Our last stope is the oldest winery in the region since the 17th century. I only wish we had more time to tour the grounds as the architecture is just as amazing as their wines. Helen not only gave us wonderful tasting wines she gave us amazing history and stories of the Priorat wineries. We loved our trip so much we wished there was more time. At last, we will have to content with this day. Thank you Helen for an unforgettable Priorat experience....

My wife and I recently visited Barcelona and decided to go on a wine tour to Priorat. We were looking for a more personal experience rather than going in a large group with some commercial tour operator. After finding Helene's company and the 5 star reviews I reached out via email. Helene was extremely accommodating, providing dates, tour options, detailed itineraries, prices and answering any questions we had. The tour itself was incredible, in particular the wines and food that we enjoyed. But importantly, every experience was improved by having Helene's expertise and just general kind demeanor to help us especially given that we're complete novices in the world of wine. We had an absolutely fantastic time and it was lovely meeting and getting know Helene on the drive to and from Priorat.
