We had the paella, cochinillo and bistek a la brasa. The meal came with pan con tomate and some sausage slices and a shot of liquor and 1x1 cake slices of some sort which were delicious. The Paella we had was really good. You do need a minimum of 2 orders to order (€30 per person so total of €60 for our paella). Portion was super big though, IMO, probably good for 3-4 people, depending on your appetite. There were 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids who didn’t touch the food we ordered, but my husband and I can eat) and it was too much. We did order more food though, since we wanted to try their cochinillo ( which was the primary reason we were there) and another dish for my children who won’t eat the food we ordered. So we ended up with so much food. It was our last day in Barcelona and we wanted to have a really nice dinner and so we didn’t care how much we were ordering and how much we were spending. We just wanted to have a good time and a nice dinner, which we had. The owner and the servers were very friendly and helpful. Overall, the point of this review is to say that everything we ordered was excellent, but also keep in mind, their...

I looked this place up on Yelp and came here simply because it had great prices and was close to my Airbnb. My boyfriend and I came here after a long day of sightseeing and we simply wanted to come and grab some good food and relax.
There’s plenty of seating inside and outside but the fun is sitting outside so you get a nice breeze and can do some neat people watching. Since paella is very common in Spain, it’s not easy to find the best one but it isn’t difficult to have a delicious type either! Since you’re paying for the cost of the dish and not per person, you’ll definitely save some money... more than you would if you got paella in America!
The cava sangria we ordered was definitely stronger than I thought. In fact, I was buzzed after 1.5 glasses! Definitely worth trying out.
I don’t know if I’d actively seek it again next time I visit Barcelona since it’s tucked into a small district but they’re definitely deserving of a good review and I had a pleasant experience when I...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Portonovo Silvestre in Barcelona, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel like I was right at home. The staff were fantastic, always attentive, friendly, and eager to make sure every aspect of my visit was perfect.
But let me tell you about the star of the show—the paella. It was simply outstanding! Every bite was a burst of flavor, with perfectly cooked rice and the freshest ingredients. Whether you’re a seafood lover or prefer the traditional mixed variety, the paella here is a must-try. It was, hands down, the best I’ve ever had.
The cozy, welcoming atmosphere combined with the exceptional food made for an unforgettable dining experience. If you're looking for a place in Barcelona where you can enjoy an authentic meal and feel like you're among friends, Portonovo Silvestre is the place to go. I can't...
