We were staying in a hotel nearby and just happened to find this place when we look for restaurants with good reviews. Very glad we came here for dinner!
They did take some time to put in the order but service was really quick and food was absolutely delicious! Totally recommend getting that half roasted chicken!
Chicken paella was really lovely. It was in a shallow dish with not so much portion size because it was just a little bit of rice and some pieces of chicken in there. Quite a large amount of snap peas though so a good way to get some veggies in!
Grilled vegetable side was quite nice. Good charr on the vegetables and they actually tasted nice as well.
Got the crispy chicken strips as an appetizer to get some protein in. Chicken was really flavorful and the perfect amount of crispiness, and it didn't feel too unhealthy deep fried or anything. Came with a honey mustard sauce that was beautiful! We actually kept some of that sauce to have with the other food.
Barbecue pork ribs were a nice one as well! I'm not usually a fan of pulled ribs because they are usually quite fatty but this one had a good amount of meat as well. Quite soft and tender and actually came off the bone very easily.
Biggest highlight of the meal was that Half Roasted Chicken! Such a beautiful item! Chicken with cooked so soft and so perfect. It actually just fell off the bone! I tried to pierce it with a fork and give it to my brother and it literally fell off the bone! Quite a big portion size and very reasonably priced as well. Total value for money here! It did take some time to come out though because they actually roast the chicken after you put in the order. Not beforehand.
Overall really recommend this place and I wouldn't mind...

Read moreAte at this restaurant at dinner midweek. We ordered 2 different entrees and the same main each - entrecote with Paris butter and pomme frites. Took about 20 mins to get the first entree which was not what my wife ordered, then maybe 5 mins to get someone's attention to tell them and then he just called the guy who took our original order over who seemed annoyed. 10 mins later we have both the correct entrees, not difficult to prepare - anchovies in oil and salmon gravalax. Within 2 minutes of getting the correct entrees he delivered the entrecotes. Seeing we had only just started eating our entrees to our amazement he just threw the mains on a side table and walked off. Let's talk about the entrecotes - they looked medium rare as ordered but they were the toughest steaks we have ever encountered. Almost impossible to cut and chew. We watched another diner get an entrecote, try it, send it back then try the ,(presumably) new one and just push it aside. I am not sure what's going on there. Maybe the steak was cooked from frozen . No one asked if we enjoyed our meal - I guess I know why - they don't care. Anyway the only thing good was the bottle of wine. I think they survive on one time tourist diners. Poor service and poor food - it doesn't...
