Just adding a couple of 'extras' about this lovely church. Check to see if there is a concert advertised at the entrance... When I was visiting they were selling discounted tickets in the hours before the concert (I caught a fantastic flamenco guitar concert of Spanish music by Ekaterina Zaytseva in the Capella). Also, don't miss the Gegants i capgrossos in the glass case just inside the main doors on the right. These figures date back to 1601 at Maria del Pi, but the Catalan tradition of giant figures probably goes back as far as the 13th century. Similar figures are found in other parts of Spain and in Flemish and Portuguese festivals. Outside the church, check out the architectural details in neighbouring buildings.
