Palermo, oh my goodness, the food here is absolutely amazing! It's like stepping into a candy store for the first time. Our choice was the medium-rare steak with French fries and their special sauce. The steak was a juicy and delicious masterpiece, and the fat on it practically melted in our mouths. The French fries were perfectly fried and seasoned just right. The sauce and veggies on the side were equally delightful.
But the real star of the show was the Paella. I've had Paella in Barcelona and other places around the world, but nothing comes close to what this restaurant serves. The rice and the seafood was flawlessly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with just the right texture, not too hard or soggy. The flavors were fantastic, and a squeeze of lemon made it even more delightful.
The cappuccino was also delightful.
The customer service at Palermo was top-notch, adding to the overall positive experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit, as we can't wait to savor these incredible flavors once more. Palermo is a culinary gem that you don't...

ENïŒ P1: The sirloin steak was very tasty, juicy, and cooked just right. The older gentleman with white hair who seated us and took our order didnât speak much English, but he was very kind. P2: Halfway through eating, I found a strange white hair/fiber. I called a waiter. The older man was gone, and a young man with slightly darker skin, possibly Asian, came instead. I showed him the hair, and he said he couldn't see anything, then walked away a bit impatiently. I just wanted an explanation â if he had explained properly, I wouldnât have been bothered. It looked like a brush bristle or cow hair. I then signaled to an older female staff member. She told the young guy to come over again (even though he already had). Then another older male waiter came, saw the hair, and said it wasnât hair, but âcarne fiber.â But it was clearly stiff and not meat â maybe he meant cow hair? He even pointed at his thigh to explain. Then the young guy offered to replace the dish, and I said okay. P3: The new plate didnât really look the same as the first one, and the portion was only half. First time Iâve seen a replacement meal served in half portion. P4: After cutting into it, it was basically raw inside. The first one was sizzling hot, this one felt barely warm, almost body temp. Seriously? P5-P6: Sirloin doesnât have much fat, but from photos 5 and 6, the meat was dry and hard â very hard to swallow. Overall, I really didnât appreciate the way the staff handled the situation. The food was fine at the beginning, but the service, the weird half-portion replacement, and the doneness issue â none of...
Read moreIt's a shame this restaurant is limited to who they serve vs. what you want to order. I heard about this restaurant from friends in the US who all convinced me that "I need to try this paella đ„"... So... I purposely did not eat breakfast and lunch that morning so I could save my appetite for dinner. I was ready...
Unfortunately they wouldn't serve it to me because they said "2 person minimum". I said I would pay for 2 people (because I could take the extra home) and plus I was hungry., but they refused and instead convinced me to get a seafood platter.. it was good, but there were too many fish in the bones for the price they charge. Lots of bones in the fish.
And I kept looking over at the 2 tables next to me on each side... both whom got paella. And they didn't even finish it. It was a waste. They didn't even take it home. I'd have at least taken leftovers or finished most of it myself. Ah well...
So ya... If you come here. Make sure you come...
