During our stay at Hotel Indigo, we had the opportunity to taste the delicious food of their restaurant, REVERSIBLE. The dining experience was pleasant, with a welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. It's a great spot for a robust breakfast, an authentic Spanish dinner, or watching your favorite football team.
The breakfast selection was diverse, featuring a wide range of fresh fruit cuts such as watermelon, cantaloupe melon, honeydew melon, and pineapple, alongside a variety of whole fruits. The spread also included delicious Spanish specialties like Iberico ham, salami, fresh Spanish cheese, and Manchego, which added a rich, authentic touch to the meal. The warm food options consisted of sausages, mixed vegetables, bacon, and beans, providing a hearty start to the day. There was also a side menu from which you could order omelets or toasts, and a nice selection of pastries and freshly pressed juices to complement the meal. However, I would have preferred to see a broader variety of vegetables available to balance the offerings.
For dinner, we opted to try mostly tapas, as well as a few main courses. The tapas were well-prepared, showcasing a range of flavors and traditional Spanish ingredients. Each dish was thoughtfully presented, and the main courses did not disappoint either, with a good balance of flavors and textures.

Read moreMy partner and I were so disappointed with our dinner here especially considering the ratings. Overall everything we ordered was really bland and didn’t taste fresh. This is probably our least favourite meal across our whole trip. In particular the burrata had a really awful sauce or flavour at the bottom of the dish that didn’t go at all/ruined the whole thing, the bravas same thing - weird sauce and tasted old?, the chicken bao was creative and nice but my partner had a big chunk of cartilage in his chicken which wasn’t a nice surprise to bite into/chew. We also ordered a meat sphere thing which also didn’t taste fresh /flavours don’t seem to go together? As for the grilled avocado and pico - we’ve had this at other tapas restaurants in Spain but this one lacked love or flavour.
On top of this - service was a bit disappointing. Watched two staff members joke with one another (in full sight right in front of us) without acknowledging us for 5 minutes before we were seated (it wasn’t a full restaurant), had to reorder our drinks as the staff member forgot them and then took a while to get our bill after an already disappointing dinner. On a positive note - the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere/looks great…just a shame...
Read moreSorry, Patatas bravas are completely domesticated. Potato mush in barely stable fried shells. Sauces unimpressive to say the least. Chicken Caesar "salad" just fried thighs (?), shred cheese and raw red onion on a plate. No garlic, anchovy (hard to believe in Barcelona), mustard notes typical of Caesar. Some kind of tomatoey goo though. Maybe Syd Caesar? Beef cannelloni flavour ok, truffle even a bit overdone. Pasta ok but unrolls - hard to eat. Shrimp / prawn croquettes - visually not uniform, brown spots. Shell good. Flavour good, if a bit overpowering. Filling texture a bit sloppy. Biggest negative - presence of drain flies near kitchen. Look it up, typically an indication of unclean drains. Beer was good though. Maybe their cocktails make up...
