Specialty coffee without “good enough” service.
It is a shame (as many other “hipster” coffee places in Barcelona) that a specialty coffee place has a bad service and stuck up attitude. Which translate as pretentious and careless about their client experience.
Well, maybe this is why the place is full of tourist and very few or none locals. Service is not focus on recurring customers.
I live literally 2 minutes from this place and I been few times. Couple of them when just open and others from time to time. And every time I tell myself I am not coming back because of the attitude.
Especially the woman with salt and pepper hair ( who I think is either one of the owners, but she says to be under someone else supervision as to no comply with customer requests)
Anyway, lucky enough there are good coffee with a nice attitude a few steps away like Cafe El Magnifico, Nudes and many more.

My bean soup was excellent, as expected. Flavorful, filling, and having a non-uniform texture. I would encourage anyone to order that. Only my partner's Japanese meal set was a little disappointing. The soft boiled egg was slightly overdone, not runny enough for the rice. The miso soup was a hair too salty, and the chicken was a little bland.
