Okay. I donโt know where to even begin. First, I live a block away and eat here probably at least twice a week. Hands down, they have the best Szechuan broth in the city. They also have an amazing tomato broth, which I think they mix with their spicy broth, but the tomato isnโt available everyday. Basically, you choose from the plentiful ingredients available in the display case, put them in a bowl with tongs, then at the counter, they weigh your selection and you select how spicy your soup should be or alternatively, if you want them to cook it in peanut sauce or just stir fried. The skewers are all priced separately and individually, and they get barbecued with hot sauce. A small sauce station allows you to make your own dipping sauce from their house made peanut/sesame sauce, fermented tofu, oyster sauce, chili oil, and salt, sugar, or msg.
There are a few other similar style places in Barcelona. Iโve tried them all- they all have their pros and cons, but Sr. Hanโs is the best.
This clearly must be a favourite on a Chinese map app because i think a lot of tourists come here from abroad. For a while, I think it must have been in a TikTok or something because the place was absolutely jammed. Itโs still very busy but at least I can usually find a...
ย ย ย Read moreI absolutely loved eating here!! I am leaving Barcelona soon and Iโm sad I hadnโt discovered this gem till now. Hotpot is one of my all time favourite foods and after three months here I was craving it. This place is perfect as I am alone here so unable to eat traditional cook at the table hotpot, but with this place you can put all the toppings you want in a bowl and pay by weight, then the hotpot is brought pre cooked to your table. They have such a great range of ingredients to choose from, including various skewers and meat, and plenty of fish balls and tofu which are my favourite ingredients. It came quickly and the broth was really nice, I got tomato broth with low spice (warning to my fellow westerners, it is the sezchuan numbing spice so donโt go wild and order extra hot!). Also eating there I felt fine eating alone, not judged or anything. And a final point, the prices were extremely economical- I got 500g of ingredients, which was nearly too much, and a can of Coke Zero, my total came out to 12,80....

I was so angry that I explained it to them, and then I took the bowl and they threw away the sauce soup and start to wash it with her hands, and she wash it and wash it again.
I was so disgusted that I couldn't feel like to eat it. I told them that I will get the new one, but they asked me to pay again, so I asked why I paid?? and she said she would wash it for me but I'm the one who wouldn't eat it.
The children were so hungry that I had to pay again and eat, but the more I thought about it, the angrier I was, I think it will be remembered as the worst restaurant...
