Okay. I donโ€™t know where to even begin. First, I live a block away and eat here probably at least twice a week. Hands down, they have the best Szechuan broth in the city. They also have an amazing tomato broth, which I think they mix with their spicy broth, but the tomato isnโ€™t available everyday. Basically, you choose from the plentiful ingredients available in the display case, put them in a bowl with tongs, then at the counter, they weigh your selection and you select how spicy your soup should be or alternatively, if you want them to cook it in peanut sauce or just stir fried. The skewers are all priced separately and individually, and they get barbecued with hot sauce. A small sauce station allows you to make your own dipping sauce from their house made peanut/sesame sauce, fermented tofu, oyster sauce, chili oil, and salt, sugar, or msg.

There are a few other similar style places in Barcelona. Iโ€™ve tried them all- they all have their pros and cons, but Sr. Hanโ€™s is the best.

This clearly must be a favourite on a Chinese map app because i think a lot of tourists come here from abroad. For a while, I think it must have been in a TikTok or something because the place was absolutely jammed. Itโ€™s still very busy but at least I can usually find a...

I absolutely loved eating here!! I am leaving Barcelona soon and Iโ€™m sad I hadnโ€™t discovered this gem till now. Hotpot is one of my all time favourite foods and after three months here I was craving it. This place is perfect as I am alone here so unable to eat traditional cook at the table hotpot, but with this place you can put all the toppings you want in a bowl and pay by weight, then the hotpot is brought pre cooked to your table. They have such a great range of ingredients to choose from, including various skewers and meat, and plenty of fish balls and tofu which are my favourite ingredients. It came quickly and the broth was really nice, I got tomato broth with low spice (warning to my fellow westerners, it is the sezchuan numbing spice so donโ€™t go wild and order extra hot!). Also eating there I felt fine eating alone, not judged or anything. And a final point, the prices were extremely economical- I got 500g of ingredients, which was nearly too much, and a can of Coke Zero, my total came out to 12,80....

Our children ordered food without spicy food, but the staff brought it to another table by mistake. They put spicy sauce in the soup and later found out about the employee's mistake, but they just whisper to each other in the kitchen and pretend not to know.

I was so angry that I explained it to them, and then I took the bowl and they threw away the sauce soup and start to wash it with her hands, and she wash it and wash it again.

I was so disgusted that I couldn't feel like to eat it. I told them that I will get the new one, but they asked me to pay again, so I asked why I paid?? and she said she would wash it for me but I'm the one who wouldn't eat it.

The children were so hungry that I had to pay again and eat, but the more I thought about it, the angrier I was, I think it will be remembered as the worst restaurant...

Very tasty broth! They have all the standard ingredients that you might want for ma la tang. Lots of fresh veggies and decent noodle options. Sauce bar was small and would benefit from having soy sauce as an option, but you could also just ask for it. I think the meat couldโ€™ve been sliced thinner, but I think thatโ€™s just what Iโ€™m used to and the meat they had was a good size. They also do bbq, which is priced separately from the soup. If you choose the skewered meat, they will grill it for you! Pricing was good! I paid around 14 euros for a large bowl of food, plus 7.50 for 3 skewers. I also saw that they strained out the water before weighing the ingredients, so you are not paying for water! The space was also decently clean!

Omg so good. The system can be confusing for the first timers. You don't need no greeting or waiting to be sit. Just grab a bowl and a tong from #1 and go to the fridge #2. Put what you want in your bowl, bring it to the cashier. They will weigh your bowl and charge you by weight. Your eyes can be bigger than stomach so for one portion, fill up like about an inch tall at the bottom with anything other than leafy vegetables, then add veggies on top since they shrink quite a bit. My husband tried this food for the first time he liked it a lot. It's been 6 days in Barcelona and I have been here 3 times already. No joke if you like hotpot or MaLa based spicy soup, this is the spot hands down
