El Berro is located in the Eixample area, an area abundant with colorful flags and many restaurants and shops. It’s on the corner, but corners here are slanted....you’ll understand if you’ve been to Barcelona.
It’s a Spanish menu, with hamburgers and some other items, very few vegetarian items. There’s also a menu of the day. I got 3 tapas for myself, not knowing how much food it can come with. I ordered the patatas bravas, which comes with a side of bread/sauce/olive oil, spanish tortilla, which also came with the bread, and manchego cheese. This was a carb heavy meal, even though i didn’t even eat all the bread.

The coffee is hot and good. The greatest asset they have is their morning staff. Mario and his team are friendly, accommodating and gracious hosts.
