If you want delicious tacos, look no further! This place exceeded my expectations. It has that street taco vibe and is cutely casual. The inside has a fair amount of seating even with Coronavirus distancing. I would recommend takeaway though. That might also be the only option right now. I ordered three tacos: shrimp, fish and al pastor, along with Jarritos. Superb and no fuss with a touch of ooh la laa. The tortilla is corn, of course, and comes fully-loaded with toppings. Eat with your hands, if you’d like. I ended up using a fork since I lack the dexterity required to consume such a delicate, loaded vessel without making a gigantic mess. A tip for this place: check out the menu of the day. I didn’t order it, but I saw another patron order soup/stew that looked and smelled enticingly mouthwatering. Anyway, give this place a whirl, if a good taco is what you’re craving!

Places is kind rustic. If you have to eat on the roof, take care when going through the stairs. Food is not awesome cause is not fresh, and isn't so tasty (neither the chilli sauces are). Reviewing the dinner I've got (see picture) the only dishes I really enjoyed were Cochinita Pibil and the desert Tres leches, but even liked the first, it came with no fresh cilantro and no lime at all. About the rest, pollo al mole didn't smell neither taste at any of its supposed ingredients (it only smell and tasted to ... ¡black beans! Wine and aguacate were just ordinary. Tamarindo was a fake "agua de", just ice and industrial flavorings. Burrito was not exciting. Them seem to be a nice place but with bad food providers. It's a pitty

Having been spoilt in the past by the authenticity of Chicano cuisine on the US—Mexico border I wasn't expecting much. Tamarindo blew me away not just in flavour but the choices of toppings and drinks on offer. It really was like taking a nostalgia trip back to my time on San Antonio's west side many years ago. If you're hungry, the lunch deal (available between 1200 and 1600) is a steal. The only few faults I can think of are thus: · Lack of space in the restaurant floor to accommodate groups larger than 5 · Drafty interior due to front and centre automatic doors · Reluctance of staff to interact with customers or check up on food quality. Luckily for them it was happy faces all around!

Coming from Texas, the tacos were mid. Eating is such a hassle in this city. Had to wait outside like there a velvet rope until the servers want to come acknowledge you. Then it’s a matter of whether you speak Spanish or not if you’ll get a table. Shorter female server last night asked the couple in front of me if they spoke Spanish, quoted them a five minute wait. I was a solo American diner and she told me right after them they were too busy and had no tables for me. Told her I’d wait, she then quoted me an hour. When 4 tables left right after saying this she begrudgingly sat me, and told the other server she could wait on the “burracho” thinking I didn’t know she was calling me a drunk even though I just left Casa Batllo and not intoxicated. She took my order, then did nothing with it and made the other girl come back for my order again. The tamarind margarita seemed weak based on her rudely inaccurate assumption. Was looking for comfort food… something other than tapas. Again, the tacos are just mid, but the disrespectful service with an attitude sums up my experience of what the city generally thinks...

You are hungry, it's a Tuesday and you are feeling like a Taco. Let's see what's on offer! Tacos should be order and immediately get. Like in the streets of Mexico. Tamarindo is a well kept place. Clean tidy and it has a good offer of tacos. Ordering is quite simple, yet staff don't seem to pay much attention. Divided in two sections, it would seem you've got to make sure you don't forget anything or else you'll be lost in Limbo for a while. Food arrives.....it takes sometime, not sure if this is made in order for you to become expectant of what is coming, but we'll tacos arrive presentation not the strongest asset but flavor is there.. It's knocking on your toungue. Hello yes it's me mexico. A good pirata, and a cochinita. They rate 6 or 7 on my scale but are what expected. Flavorsome and not very overpriced, if just everything else worked it would be much better. Overall an ok experience, but room for...
