Not the first time in the restaurant. Absolutely love the atmosphere and the food but this is what happened yesterday. My best friend had a birthday and we faced with rudeness of the manager of the restaurant. We asked waiter can we do pictures in the restaurant. We went to the corner where was no people and empty table to do it now before someone sit there . And then the manager came after 3 mins and said that “that we have different cultures and he doesn’t know our culture but here ITS RUDE and it’s not comfortable for guests when we are doing pics” (it’s totally fine and there is sense in it but like a manager you need be polite and on the side of comfort of every client)! Then he was comparing the cultures few times (?!!!) . We felt like “not good enough and second sort of people” with that comparing.Hidden aggression and such an open discrimination. I absolutely felt disgusted and after he was saying “if anything ask me in the future”. Okey! We asked waiter who knew it’s not enough , BUT the way how that manager said literally he affected our mood on the BIRTHDAY celebration of my friend . Instead of just being completely calm and understandable and propose us a solution he just made us wanted to leave and made me write this comment now. I have so many questions for the behavior. How the professional manager could act like that? Absolutely not a restaurant service . It looked like we are on the market in Raval but not the place where we are paying for the atmosphere, for the place in the restaurant but having this on the birthday! We are clients and we should be respected and not having this toxic comments from the service. If you have rules okey say it politely. In the other places and restaurants when I have a girl brunch/dinner no matter what the stuff even make a proposition to make pic of all of us for the memory to this make us want to come back . Yesterday we didn’t do any pictures together like a group for such an important day. This affected very very much our time spending . Big shame to that manager . I don’t remember his name but I totally remember his face and behavior. I give it 1/10 just because of him Food and waiter and open kitchen , chefs and interior is amazing but not that person who is “main” . Literally make no sense . It’s not Michelin 5 starts private dining place with family of Kardashians sittings...
Read moreThis restaurant does not care about its customers! Avoid this place for any special occasion celebration - highly disappointing. The food was passable, though lacked depth of flavor, and service slow but professional, however the customer service is far below expectations from a restaurant that positions itself at this "caliber." I booked Tragaluz to celebrate a family member's birthday, believing it would provide an unforgettable experience, as I have always been impressed with the quality of food and service in the past. Unfortunately our experience was far from expected, and far below the minimum that any restaurant would provide. To ensure they know about the occasion I emailed them the day before, called and spoke with the manager a few hours before arrival AND told the receptionist about the birthday while specifically requesting cake & candles after dinner. Despite my prior request, the staff failed to acknowledge the birthday, nor was any effort made to create a festive atmosphere for our table. I understand that restaurants can be busy and requests can sometimes be overlooked, but I was really put off by the lack of effort to make her birthday celebration special. Also, I was further disappointed when dessert was not brought to our table, as I had specifically requested. A simple gesture like bringing a small dessert with a candle would have made a world of difference in making the birthday celebration feel special. To put "icing on the cake", I emailed the restaurant and filled out a feedback form - all with zero response. If you insist to eat there, better to...
Read moreAfter visiting the place i would not want to recommend it to anyone.
While the waitress was very polite, the service was slow, we had to wait some time until a person came to our table to ask for a second round of drinks. Yeah it’s evening and all tables are full. Not enough personnel?
The food was not something we expected to have either. The “best” star of the evening was duck carbonara with addition of truffle. I have eaten some duck in my life and man that is not it! Neither me nor my partner could taste anything but pure cold animal fat in the dish. It smelled like lard out of the can too. Not to say i expected a duck dish of course. But pasta drenched in animal fat with no seasoning is not something a lot of people enjoy. Other dishes we ate were bland and unmemorable.
When they took our plates away no one even asked if we enjoyed everything, considering the plate had more than half left in it I can come to conclusion they know the food is not good.
The atmosphere is 3/5. I can’t put a finger around it, but it just doesn’t feel cozy and that you’re looked after. It’s related to service probably.
Special shoutout goes to WC, with only 1 cabin available where i could hear absolutely everything that was going on inside while i waited for my...
