Restaurant Mordisco — Restaurant in Barcelona

Having just dined at this restaurant there are quite a few things that are simply off. There no direction when entering the location as to where someone is to go to be greeted, instead there was a chef working a smaller section right inside the door who seemed annoyed that I wasn't aware of where to go to actually find a service staff member to be seated. Upon actually finding someone I was given an impression that dining for one would be inconvenient for them, so I instead asked if they'd prefer I sit at the bar, which I did. I was rushed through the ordering process and upon ordering the Croquettes and Pallard con Pollo was further disappointed. The croquettes were the highlight of the dining experience, but that isn't saying much. They were significantly smaller than others I have received dining out in Barcelona and did not have significant flavor depth. This place blew me away!

I take pride in the ambience that I dine in, this well designed cafe/restaurant was so nice that it made me waiting for my food so much more pleasurable! (Not that it took long for my food to be served at all)

Great open concept with glass windows and lots of greenery to allow light to come through.

The menu was well established and the food certainly lived up to its expectation as well (this place was suggested as a must visit by a local friend).

There was dish we ordered that was so so good, see photos, a combination of ham egg and potatoes. A pan of it I literally could gobble it all down!

Prices were a little on the higher side, but you definitely could afford to spend a little if you're looking to be jolly well satisfied at the end of the meal.

I was celebrating my wedding anniversary and a friend suggested to come here for dinner as the food was great. When we were seated to our table it was to close to some of the other tables in the room, it seemed as if they just put the table there but it didn't go.

It took 5 minutes to get our drinks to the table. The food was lovely however would of been nice to enjoy our food and the atmosphere of the restaurant.

The service was so fast it made the evening rubbish. After taking our starters, the main dish arrived within seconds we didn't have time to enjoy anything of the evening.

We arrived at 8.30 and left at 9.30 - 3 course meal within 45 minutes. I understand they had customer to sit as some were waiting at the bar but this ruined our evening. Can't say I...
