What a lovely, beautiful place. The food was tasty and had so much flavor. The staff was excellent, and the atmosphere was picturesque.
The food: I always love to order margherita pizzas when I go to Italian restaurant because you are eating the bare essentials: the dough, cheese and sauce. You can taste everything and hide nothing. There is no other flavor to cover up for bad quality ingredients. I travel all over the world and have had margherita pizzas in every city I've visited. This one is at the top of my list. The sauce was so, so good. Fresh and tasty. The perfect balance of spices and not acidic at all. It was smooth and wonderful. The cheese was to perfection, the right amount and a pretty dynamic flavor.
We also had the caprese salad and pasta. It was all fresh and yummy.
Now let me tell you about the tiramisu!!! I'm not usually a fan of tiramisu but this one...mwah!!! So good. It was layered so well. Light and creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness, not too much. It was unbelievable how good it was!
The service: The food was great but the service was even better. We had 2 people waiting on us the entire time we were there. They were attentive, kind, helpful, and might I add, super funny! I joked about how big the pizza was and when I finished it my server and I joked about how I did a really good job! 😅
The atmosphere: Gorgeous. We sat on the patio and were surrounded by people enjoying great food and company. The table next to us was a bunch of friends eating and playing cards! I could tell this is a place where people gather frequently to enjoy good food together.
You can tell this is the spot. If you're looking for great food and atmosphere, Via...
Read moreSuch a shame as I want to support LGBT businesses but this experience was truly abhorrent. Came for food and drinks and halfway through the meal they start packing up around us aggressively (10pm) making us feel extremely uncomfortable as people from the other restaurants watched in shock at the unfolding events.
I go in to pay as they told my friend ‘no more drinks we are closed’… thinking maybe this will ease the tension and maybe they are impatiently waiting to cash up (which I understand as I work in hospitality, other jobs can continue after cashing up is done) one waitress is friendly enough but when I go back to finish my meal the other waitress turns the lights off on us???? At this point we were mindblown by how rude this is considering we were their only customers. Is it that difficult to wait 5 minutes? And then the cherry on top, the rude waitress tries to CLOSE the parasol on us/ our table ????????? at this point we leave with half a pizza in our hands and my bottle of drink lol, so come in here if you enjoy this type of thing. Definitely an extremely unique dining...
Read moreSuper delicious food and great atmosphere. We came on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was completely fully booked. But we could get a table outside. As it was full, the waiter Marco was not able to come directly, (he was excusing several times but it was completely fine with us) but we got the menu and ordered within 15 min. The starter was burrata, imported from Italy. It was amazingly creamy and super delicious!! As main we had two different kinds of pasta with seafood. It was very very good!!
I can really not understand all critics here and the rating of 4,2 stars only as I see this place having a much better revenue! I think people are handling ratings to easy and give "bad" ratings too easily. This place is definitely more stars worth! I will definitely come back soon! Thank...
