Our recent evening at the Palladium in Benidorm had some enjoyable moments, though it was a mixed experience. Levi G was definitely the star of the night. His quick wit, hilarious comebacks, and natural charisma kept everyone laughing, and his closing performance of “My Life” was genuinely heartfelt, leaving a lasting impression.
However, some parts of the lineup didn’t live up to the same standard. Gary George’s act fell flat, as he kept “sshh-ing” the crowd rather than engaging them with memorable humor. His jokes felt repetitive, and his approach of picking on audience members lacked the warmth and cleverness that Levi G brought to the stage.
Sticky Vicky’s daughter was also a letdown. Her act didn’t have the same flair or mystique as her mother’s iconic performances; it was quite obvious that the objects were pulled from her underwear, which took away the element of surprise that made the original act famous.
The Palladium itself is welcoming, with friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks, creating a lively atmosphere. Some members of the audience were quite chatty during the acts, which was a bit distracting, but overall, we had a good time. The night was saved by Levi G, though a fresher lineup and better crowd control would definitely improve...
Read moreHad an absolutely shocking experience with my grandmother and aunt. We where sitting peacfully at a table near the stage, all side by side, for an hour before the shows started with no hassels at all. Once the shows started, I was asked to move my chair around, so I was facing away from the stage, as I was blocking a walkway. As I was explaining that the I was unable to see like this and the spot lights where directly in my eyes, I was forcibly moved around the table to where he wanted me to go. Because of this I decided to move to a 2 person table, alone, and continue on with my night. It got to the end of one act and a lady and gentleman wanted to sit where I was, granted if I was a single person entering the venue, there would be no issues of me sitting there. I was approached by the same man and was told that I either had to sit back in my same spot, or leave. I left every quickly after this. It was my first time in this establishment and was highly disappointed as to how this person has treated me as I was...
