I really want to love this Arvo Deusto as it’s close to where I live and also I love the other location close to Guggenheim. However, the hours are ridiculous in my opinion. In the summer, they open only in the morning (there aren’t students in the summer I give you that); but in November they closed for a week for vacay, and now they are closed again in December for another week because of some maintenance work. We also had tostada yamba (very intense, but it was nice to have some greens at the side) and uyuni (served on a lot of very sweet marmalade which drowned the toast flavours quite a lot-maybe less is more?) The Banana pancakes with peanutbutter were fluffy and nice, but also here a bit too much of agave sirup made it too sweet. All in one, you can't do wrong going there for a nice colorful breakfast! This is the second venue and it feels slightly more sterile and less like a heart project. Nevertheless, the matcha latte and Byron bay toast I had were great. The service staff was alone at the counter and responsible for cleaning up, which meant plates stacked on tables and it was a bit more chaotic than with more staff available.
