WOW! This is one mighty, juicy and tasty burger! I decided to go for the double pattie (pure greed) Encurtido-Panceta-Queso burger (Bacon & Cheese with Pickled Onions and Chillies) along with regular sized portion of fries. I opted to have the burgers cooked pink and boy were they just that when I cut into the first one! The meat was deep pink at the centre and very tasty! Along with the thick bacon, blue cheese and the rest this burger was more than just big...it was massive! The picture does not do it justice! The fries were crispy and well salted and along with the sauces completed the dish very well indeed! If you don't quite like your burgers that pink then you can request them to be cooked a bit more. Anyways, if it's a top notch burger joint you're looking for in Bilbao then this is the place to go! Easy 5 stars.

SADLY a disappointing experience for me. After carefully going through so many amazing reviews i chose this particular restaurant to have some lunch, and even waited until 1.30pm. My burger did look appealing at the start but as im eating more and more i find all these small unfortunate things about it. The salad with the huge tomato on my burger wasn’t drained properly and made the bread soggy, the meat was quite tasteless, i asked for medium rare but it looked rare to me and got all mushy and didn’t look very nice. The fries tasted like they have been fried in old oil and all i could taste was some previous fried stuff and not really the potatoes. The service and the portion of the fries were the only highlight of my visit. Although a vast number of reviews say otherwise my experience here forces me not to come back or recommend it. I paid 20€ for a burger, fries and a coke. Perhaps another time.

Francamente decepcionante. El local me pareció más una lonja de amigos adolescentes que una hamburguesería. Todo lleno de grafitis y cosas rotas y deterioradas. La carta en papel, sin plastificar y muy trillada. ¡Ahora! El personal nos trato bien con algún pequeño fallo sin importancia. En la zona donde nos sentaron se oía demasiado la musica y tras pedir que la bajaran un poco lo hicieron sin problema. Respecto a la comida. - Los nachos (Ignacios) estaban muy ricos. La carne y el guacamole estaban bien y como punto negativo diría el sabor a queso que era muy muy suave. - Las patatas 3 salsas punto fuerte las salsas, eran alioli, tomate picante y mahonesa ahumada que es super rica. Las patatas estaban blandas y casi seguro que tenia dos frituras con tiempo entre ellas. Por ultimo, la hamburguesa, os hablare de la mía que fue la Cerdo Mango queso. La pedí por pedir algo diferente y creo que no fue una decisión acertada. Para empezar el pan estaba seco y carecía de sabor, el queso a pesar de estar presente no se notaba en ningún momento y el resto de condimentos y salsas hacia que no se distinguiera ningún sabor. Lo único salvable podría ser la carne que tenia algo de sabor y estaba a buen punto. No pedimos postre pero si café. Como hago siempre, después de una comida, pedí un solo con hielo y remato la cena. Esta bastante malo. ¿Repetiría? No ¿Lo recomendaría? No Si que me iría tomar algo y me comería unos Ignacios masivos y unas patatas que a pesar de las patatas las salsas esta muy buenas, sobre todo la mahonesa ahumada que es TOP.

Hands down one of the best burger places in Bilbao. Premium meat, original mixing of ingredients, warm bun, homemade potatoes and sauces, and artisan beers. Can't give it 5* because of the waiting times, one hour and a half in my case, and sitting their buddies first. About the waiting times I must say if you know this in advance you can easily work around it by going earlier, putting your name in the list and going for some beers with your friends to any of the bars near the restaurant.

Visitar La Brasa Canalla fue una experiencia tremendamente frustrante y decepcionante. La ubicación de nuestra mesa fue inapropiada, apretada y poco considerada, especialmente cuando había mesas más grandes disponibles (íbamos con una bebé). Además, el local estaba frío, con corrientes de aire helado. A pesar de pedir que encendieran la calefacción, nos dijeron que no tenían, lo cual era claramente falso, como se evidencia en las fotos del local, donde se ve un sistema de calefacción. En cuanto a la comida, la situación empeoró. Las hamburguesas no solo estaban lejos de ser apetitosas, sino que tampoco se asemejaban a las imágenes de su página web. La hamburguesa de mi esposa estaba cruda, lo cual es inaceptable en cualquier estándar culinario. Las patatas fritas eran un desastre absoluto: quemadas hasta volverse negras y con un sabor rancio que indicaba que el aceite no se había cambiado en semanas. La falta de profesionalismo y cortesía del personal fue el colmo. Su actitud ante nuestras quejas fue despectiva y poco profesional. Esta visita fue una experiencia muy por debajo de lo aceptable. Basado en mi experiencia, no solo no recomendaría La Brasa Canalla, sino que también advertiría a otros comensales que busquen opciones mejores como por ejemplo el restaurante Mexicano colindante, donde al final hemos tenido que ir a acabar de comer al dejar nuestros platos casi intactos. UNA VERGÜENZA DE SITIO.

This might have been a long wait... But it was one of the most amazing burgers i had in a long time. I would definitely recommended! I saw some people with a GPS, looking at thr place, and then they turned around and walked away-- yes, it is VERY VERY BUSY... And it's a very small shop... But definitely make time to hang around and wait for your burger. There is a BM supermarket nearby, so you can always go do some shopping or have a look there to pass the time.
